Just In: Pam Bondi Announces FBI Delivered “Truckload” of Epstein Files after Her Hard Deadline

The Trump Administration’s first attempt to start releasing the Epstein files was a bit of a fiasco, as what was released mainly consisted of redacted documents given to conservative “new media” influencers, and the majority of those documents had already dribbled out online over the years. Attorney General Pam Bondi blamed a recalcitrant FBI for the issue, and demanded it start complying with her orders.

Now, it appears that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has complied with her order and released the files she demanded of it, as AG Bondi explained to Sean Hannity on the night of Monday, March 3, that a “truckload” of files was delivered by the FBI after she gave it until 8 am on the morning of Friday, February 28, to deliver the files.

For reference, AG Bondi gave the US District Court for the Southern District of New York until the morning of February 28 to turn over all information it has about Jeffrey Epstein. That followed her accusing the district and the FBI within it of withholding “thousands of pages of documents” related to Epstein’s case.

In any case, commenting to Hannity on the FBI’s compliance after she set the deadline, AG Bondi said, “I gave [the FBI] a deadline of Friday at 8 a.m. to get us everything. And a source had told me where the documents were being kept, Southern District of New York, shock. So we got them all by Friday at 8 a.m.”

Continuing, AG Bondi noted that now there are agents examining all of the documents handed over, and FBI Director Kash Patel is investigating why the FBI initially tried to bury those documents. She said, “Thousands of pages of documents. I have the FBI going through them…and Director Patel is going to get us a detailed report as to why the FBI withheld all of those documents.”

Emphasizing the scale of the turned over documents, she said the district involved in hiding them had turned over “a truckload of evidence.” She then noted that a report is coming, as is a release of the documents, but she is proceeding carefully so that Epstein’s victims are protected. She said, “And, you know, we’re going to go through it, go through it as fast as we can, but go through it very cautiously to protect all the victims of Epstein.”

Then, hammering the Biden Administration, she accused it of “sitting” on the evidence and just letting the information rot in the Southern District of New York, telling Hannity, “No one did anything with them. And why were they sitting in the Southern District of New York? I want a full report on that. You know, sadly, these people don’t believe in transparency. But I think more unfortunately, I think a lot of them don’t believe in honesty.”

Reiterating her pledge to release all the documents once they have been combed through, AG Bondi then said that the Trump Administration is different than Biden and recognizes the public’s right to know, saying, “And it’s a new day. It’s a new administration, and everything’s going to come out to the public. The public has the right to know Americans have a right to know.”
