Just In: Fox News Panelist Collapses Live on Air Mid-Segment [WATCH]

Things got crazy in a sad and scary way on Fox News Channel during its “Fox News @ Night” broadcast in the evening on Thursday, May 8, when former One America News Network correspondent and current FNC contributor Camryn Kinsey suddenly passed out, falling out of her chair mid-sentence.

The moment came as Kinsey and show host Jonathan Hunt discussed former President Joe Biden’s comments on ABC’s “The View” about Kamala Harris’s electoral defeat to President Trump, comments that he had made earlier in the day and made quite a fool of himself with.

Kinsey, commenting on the matter, and losing track halfway through her sentence, said, “So this is about incompetence, it’s not about ideology or uh, it’s not about uh.” She then went from stumbling over her words to tumbling out of her chair, falling off of it and onto the floor as the cameras rolled.

Hunt watched her fall and looked extremely shaken, then quickly ended the segment and cut to a commercial break while handing the show off to another presenter so that he and the staff could focus on Kinsey, saying, “We’re just going to get some help her for Camryn.”

As of 7:30 am EST on Friday, May 9, when this article was written, Kinsey had not directly commented on what happened, nor had FNC, though Hunt said on air that she had at least regained conciousness. But the incident had exploded online, with numerous individuals posting the clip of her and commenting on what happened.

Amongst those who did so was Mario Nawfal, who wrote, “Political commentator Camryn Kinsey suddenly passed out during Fox News’ evening broadcast Thursday, tumbling from her chair as viewers watched the frightening scene unfold in real-time.”

Continuing, Nawfal commented on Hunt’s response to the situation, saying, “The former One America News Network correspondent was mid-sentence when she began stumbling over her words before collapsing completely, forcing substitute host Jonathan Hunt to quickly cut to commercial.”

Concluding the post, Nawfal said, “When the show returned, Hunt assured viewers that Kinsey had regained consciousness and was being examined by EMTs who rushed to the studio. No word yet on what caused the sudden medical emergency – though thankfully early reports suggest she’s ‘awake and alert.'” Watch the scene here:

Commenters on Nawfal’s post mainly took umbrage with Hunt’s reaction, noting that he didn’t rush to help her and instead just watched. One, for example, wrote, “His first instinct was to not help the guest that collapsed right next to him. Just saying. Live tv and all that but that’s a human. Not like there is an EMT behind the camera waiting Broham.”

Another had similar comments about Hunt and speculated on what might have happened, saying, “Surprised the other host just sat there and didn’t get up to check on her!… I suspect two things that might have caused Camryn to pass out: she’s expecting or simply vasovagal response from prolonged sitting and dehydration.”

Yet another commenter wondered whether she was simply overworked, writing, “I honestly think that people in this world are completely overworked. Sometimes these TV people work 16 hour days 6-7 days week. We have people in factories doing the same thing. The world simple got too expensive on greed!”
