Former “Bachelor” contestant and publicist Jillian Anderson recently sat down with entertainment lawyer Mitra Ahouraian and Fox News, where they discussed the recent backlash against Jason Aldean’s new song and music video “Try That In A Small Town.” The group dissected the lyrics of the song and found no evidence of the charges of “racism” and “violence” the song has been accused of while also calling out the hypocrisy of woke culture.
The Fox News “Common Sense” department analyzed the lyrics of the new popular song and determined that Jason Aldean is saying, “cussing out cops stomping on the flag and carjacking gold ladies is not welcome in small towns.” Aldean simply implies that conservative small towns believe in order and would not tolerate the lawlessness observed in urban American areas over the past several years.
Furthermore, there are plenty of songs in today’s woke entertainment industry that discuss topics such as “killing cops, r****g pregnant women, assassinating presidents” directly, not even making subtle references. The woke mob, of course, does not have a problem with lyrics of this nature so long as it supports their agenda or comes from their constituents.
Moreover, there have been plenty of examples of leftist political figures seemingly calling for violent action (see the video below) or spewing violent, aggressive rhetoric toward conservatives. But apparently, it’s too much for Jason Aldean to say small towns do not condone chaos and disorder.

Jillian Anderson opined, stating, “I mean, it’s absolutely absurd.” She explained that nowhere in the song do the lyrics demonstrate anything Aldean has been accused of. “There’s nowhere in the song that is racist or offending anyone or promoting violence,” she said. Anderson further slammed the moral content of today’s woke entertainment industry. “But we look at other songs like these are the lyrics to Cardi B song what that what number one, no one had a problem with and they aired that over the radio,” she said.
She further called out the double standard of the entertainment industry by talking about Lil Nas X’s Satanic themes. “We saw Lil Nas and song was up for Song of the Year at the Grammys. And for those of you who need reminded that full music video portraying him as the devil, and another version of him seducing the devil, all while mocking the first book of the Bible, but that was okay.”
However, the silent majority of conservative Americans are making their voices heard as demonstrated by recent events such as the Bud Light boycott, “Sound of Freedom’s” massive success at the box office, and non-woke country songs like Aldean’s topping the charts. “So there’s a really double standard when it comes to the Hollywood industry. And we’re seeing that the silent majority isn’t staying silent anymore when it comes to the entertainment,” the former Bachelor contestant said.
Despite the leftist, woke backlash against Jason Aldean’s new hit song, the country star has remained firm, refusing to apologize for voicing his beliefs through his music. See the music video for “Try That In A Small Town” below.
