“It’s Time You Resign”: MAGA Sounds Off on Pam Bondi after Yet More Disappointment

MAGA is getting sick and tired of Attorney General Pam Bondi, with the disappointing flub of United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba’s fall from power becoming the impetus for yet another round of immense criticism directed toward AG Bondi.

As background, AG Bondi’s tenure as AG has been pockmarked by a slew of failures and mistakes, including the Epstein files disaster, the indictment of Letitia James, and, most recently, US Attorney Alina Habba losing power because of a rogue judge’s ruling that AG Bondi failed to effectively combat.

Posting about that situation in a statement released to X, Bondi said, “Following the flawed Third Circuit decision disqualifying Alina Habba from performing her duties in the U.S. Attorney’s office for the District of New Jersey, I am saddened to accept Alina’s resignation.”

Continuing, the AG noted, “The court’s ruling has made it untenable for her to effectively run her office, with politicized judges pausing trials designed to bring violent criminals to justice. These judges should not be able to countermand the President’s choice of attorneys entrusted with carrying out the executive branch’s core responsibility of prosecuting crime.”

She then praised what Habba had accomplished while in the position, saying, “This situation is particularly unfortunate given Alina’s strong record of achievement in office. Under her leadership, Newark saw a 20% reduction in crime, and Camden experienced its first summer in 50 years without a homicide.”

Concluding, she wrote, “The Department of Justice will seek further review of this decision, and we are confident it will be reversed. Alina intends to return to lead the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey if this occurs. In the meantime, Alina will be continuing with the Department of Justice as Senior Advisor to the Attorney General for U.S. Attorneys, helping drive the fight against violent crime nationwide.”

The comments savaged her. “No offense but I think it’s time you resign. No one has been held accountable for the BS over the past decade. You screwed up the Epstein files, you can’t get grand juries to indict anyone. We don’t want low hanging fruit, we want to see the tree fall,” one commenter on the post said.

Others said things like “It is time for you to get mean. The media is never going to like you. Put the criminals in jail” and “Do your job or you’re going to be the reason the Republican Party loses the midterms. Get to work! We want results by the end of the week!” Still another wrote, “Hey Pam – your boss basically just told the entire world you’re useless. Thoughts?”

That last comment was a reference to a post President Donald Trump made on Truth Social about Bondi in late September. He said, in part, “Pam: I have reviewed over 30 statements and posts saying that, essentially, ‘same old story as last time, all talk, no action. Nothing is being done. What about Comey, Adam “Shifty” Schiff, Leticia??? They’re all guilty as hell, but nothing is going to be done.’”
