“Is That a Serious Question?”: Trump Comments on Preemptive Strikes on Iran [WATCH]

President-elect Donald Trump recently sparred with a reporter who asked him if he would consider a preemptive air strike against Iran, targeting the adversarial nation’s nuclear facilities.  Speaking with the press following remarks he delivered at Mar-a-Lago, Trump questioned how it would be reasonable for him to publicly answer a question of such geopolitical magnitude.

“Well I can’t tell you that. I mean, it’s a wonderful question, but how can I – am I going to do preemptive strikes? Why would I say that?” Trump responded to the reporter after being asked if he would support a preemptive strike on the Middle Eastern nation. “Can you imagine if I said yes or no? You would say, ‘That was strange that he answered that way.’ Am I going to do preemptive strikes on Iran? Is that a serious question? How could I answer a question like that?” he added.

“How could I tell you a thing like that now?” Trump continued in his reaction to the reporter’s bold question. “You don’t talk about that before something may or may not happen. I don’t want to insult you, I just think it’s just not something that I would ever answer. Having to do with there or any other place in the world,” the president-elected maintained.

The American Tribune reported on other recent comments from Trump where he vowed to pull the United States out of the World Health Organization.  “The World Health Organization has become nothing more than a corrupt globalist scam paid for by the United States, but owned and controlled by China,” he began. “When the China virus reached our shores three years ago, the World Health Organization disgracefully covered the tracks of the Chinese Communist Party every single step of the way,” he said in a recent video statement.

“For this reason, it was my great honor to terminate America’s relationship with the World Health Organization. The United States was paying the World Health Organization almost $500 million a year when I dropped out, I took it out of there and for 330 million people, even though China was paying only $40 million for 1.4 billion people,” the incoming president asserted.

However, Trump noted that Biden undid his past efforts to distance the U.S. from the organization. “Unfortunately, crooked Joe Biden foolishly re entered the World Health Organization at the full price and without any negotiations or reforms, and now Biden is pushing to bypass the United States Senate to enter a pandemic treaty that would surrender American sovereignty to the World Health Organization, again controlled by China,” he said.

Promising to withdraw the U.S. from the organization once again, Trump vowed, “Remember, under the next Trump administration, that treaty will be immediately terminated. I would not allow public health to be used as a pretext to advance the march of global government. That’s what they’re doing. Globalists, the United States will withdraw from the corrupt world health organization, which, in light of its utter failure and COVID, they had a tremendous disaster on COVID deserves to be completely abolished and replaced.”
