Internet Explodes with Anger Over Judge Boasberg’s Connection to the Hillary Clinton Email Scandal

Surprising nobody, internet sleuths revealed that Judge James Boasberg, who became infamous for attempting to block President Trump from deporting Venezuelan gangsters using the Alien Enemies Act, was connected to Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.

For context, during the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton was haunted by concerns that she mishandled classified information on a personal email server. While the FBI admitted that she and her aides broke the law, no charges were ever filed.

In any case, on March 26, 2025, conservative influencer Nick Sotor broke the news on X. He announced, “🚨 WTF?! Judge Boasberg, the activist judge BLOCKING Trump from deporting violent gang members, intentionally DELAYED the release of Hillary Clinton’s emails until after the 2016 election. He’s also now “coincidentally” presiding over the Signal case. This is RIGGED! How do people not see that?”

In the comments under his post, social media users condemned the judge for his blatant overreach. One user singled out the Democrats, saying, “Democrats are the enemy of justice. Democrats are the enemy of democracy.”

Adding additional context, one user pointed out Boasberg’s other controversies. The user noted, “ANOTHER COINCIDENCE: His daughter, wife, sister & brother-in-law together rake in hundreds of thousands of dollars annually from government-funded NGOs they work for, oversee and move money through.”

Blasting the corrupt judge, prominent conservative commentator Tom Renz said, “The courts are NOT following the law. The appearance of impropriety is the foundation for credibility in our justice system and is being abjectly ignored. The courts continually interpret 28 USC 455 more broadly so they can cover for biased judges but there are limits and I think Boasberg is a case study in crossing the line. If the judges don’t follow the law, then how are they in a position to tell us to?”

As we reported, MAGA hardliner Newt Gingrich savaged Judge Boasberg in a recent statement. Mr. Gingrich delivered an epic put down, saying, “Fifteen District Judges effectively seized control of various Executive Branch duties in the first six weeks of the current presidency through nationwide injunctions. This is potentially a judicial coup d’etat. It clearly violates the Constitution and more than 200 years of American history.”

Explaining his argument matter-of-factly, Gingrich added, “Unelected lower-court judges have been steadily grabbing power for years. It was such an obvious threat that in 2012, Vince Haley and I wrote “Bringing the Court Back under the Constitution.” It is an historic (sic) study which I am submitting for the Record.”

Continuing his attack, the Republican cited Harvard Law Review to back up his points. He continued, “There were 96 nationwide injunctions ordered by District Courts from 2001 to 2023. Two-thirds of them (64) were issued during President Trump’s time in office. Furthermore, 92 percent of the injunctions against President Trump were issued by judges appointed by Democratic presidents.”

Concluding his rhetorical demolition, Gingrich drew attention to the unprecedented number of injunctions against the current Trump administration — a staggering 15 injunctions since January 20, 2025. Regarding this grab for power, Gingrich said, “The notion that unelected lawyers can micromanage the Executive Branch — and override a Commander in Chief who received 77.3 million votes — should trouble every American.”
