“Insulting”: Ex-FBI Agent Torches Biden for Choosing Fundraiser Over Officer Diller’s Wake [WATCH]

Retired Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent Nicole Parker appeared on Fox News on Thursday, March 28, to take Biden to task over his decision to attend a New York fundraiser alongside former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama instead of the wake of slain NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller. Parker, who left the FBI over its politicization, called Biden’s decision “insulting.”

As background, Officer Diller was slain on Monday, March 25. His murder occurred when he and his partner initiated a traffic stop in Queens, and one of the vehicle’s occupants, Guy Rivera, opened fire on Officer Diller. A round struck Officer Diller in the stomach, just below his bulletproof vest, and he died from the wound. Rivera is a career criminal arrested 21 times.

President Biden, however, decided not to attend Officer Diller’s Thursday, March 28 wake. Instead, he attended a political fundraiser for his presidential campaign in New York City, one in which he raised $25 million but was booed by pro-Palestinian protesters inside of and outside of the venue, showing the fractured state of the left. The wake was just 40 miles to the east of the fundraiser.

Retired Special Agent Nicole Parker sounded off on that decision of Biden’s during her Thursday appearance on Fox News, breaking down in mourning of Officer Diller. Parker had suffered a similar loss in the past, when two of her then-partners in the FBI were murdered in Broward County, Florida, in 2021. She said that Biden was similarly absent then.

Parker, commenting on the disrespect shown toward the fallen officers and how such killings impact their families, said, “These are human beings. They have families. This beautiful wife is now alone with her 1-year-old son, Officer Diller’s 1-year-old son will never know his father on this earth and that is absolutely devastating.”

Continuing, Parker explained how Biden was not there when her FBI partners were killed in Florida, something that made her and her fellow agents and officers feel that he wasn’t there for law enforcement. She said, “[Biden] was not there [for Schwartzenberger and Alfin] and we did not feel that he supported our law enforcement officers. I don’t know why, but to see that he is currently at a fundraiser and is going to potentially raise $25 million is insulting.”

Parker then skewered Biden’s decision to attend the fundraiser instead of the wake, one which was attended by former President Trump, saying, “Officer Diller’s life is worth more than $25 million. But I can also tell you that there are officers and I understand and agree when you don’t feel supported. It’s actually better that you don’t show up to the funeral because it is insulting.”

She also explained the horrible Catch-22 America’s law enforcement officers face, saying, “If you’re a police officer and you’re being proactive, you could potentially go to jail. If you’re in a shooting. And we call them ‘clean shoots’ when deadly force is justified, for instance, and you are in a situation and you have to protect yourself or those around you. Starting around the summer of 2020, we knew that we could potentially go to jail even if it was a clean shoot.”
