In a flurry of activity on social media, liberal writer Stephen King was subjected to an hour-long online beatdown after he made a series of vile claims about the recently departed conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, which may open him up to a devastating civil suit.
For context, Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University during the middle of a speech where he was addressing leftist violence. After the fateful shot rang out, and Kirk slumped to the floor, a manhunt instantly began for the assassin. While the majority of interactions expressed horror at the senseless loss of life, some selfish leftists chose to celebrate Kirk’s death.
The incident began with a seemingly innocent post from conservative influencer Jesse Waters, who mourned his friend, saying, “Charlie Kirk was not a ‘controversial’ or ‘polarizing’ man. Charlie was a PATRIOT. THIS is a turning point and we all need to turn in the right direction. Rest in peace, my friend.”
Taking the opportunity for a callous low blow, the controversial writer Stephen King reacted, “He advocated stoning gays to death. Just sayin’.” Not only is this a common lie spread about Kirk, but legal experts have noted that these remarks may enable Kirk’s family to sue King for emotional distress, even if the passing of the conservative icon precludes a defamation case.
Reacting to the henius post, Sen. Mike Lee blasted the entitled author with an epic rebuke. He posted. “Please share if you agree that the estate of Charlie Kirk should sue Stephen King for defamation over this heinously false accusation. He’s crossed a line. It will prove costly.”
Eventually, King was forced to recant his wild post, the TDS affilicted writed said, “I apologize for saying Charlie Kirk advocated stoning gays. What he actually demonstrated was how some people cherry-pick Biblical passages.”
However, the internet was unwilling to let King get off easily and subjected him to dozens of hostile mentions. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) reacted, “You are a horrible, evil, twisted liar. No, he did not. Your party—which you shamelessly shilled for—sent $100 billion to the Ayatollah… who does routinely murder homosexuals. Why are you so dishonest & filled with hate?”

As we reported, other liberals faced backlash for celebrating the tragic slaying. Amanda Dodson, a Pennsylvania emotional support teacher, reposted a vile statement attacking the beloved conservative as “racist, xenophobic, transphobic, islamophobic, sexist, white nationalist mouthpiece who made millions of dollars inciting hatred in this country. ”
Still non-done with her tone deaf remarks, the teacher alleged, “Whether it was his genocide denial, his transphobic tirades, his pushing for mass deportations, or his normalizing Trumpism for years, the man stood for nothing but hate. I extend absolutely no empathy for people like that.”
The post continued, “In this situation, my empathy is reserved for his children. May they grow up to live in a country that is the total opposite of everything their father envisioned. May all of our children grow up to live in a country that values their lives enough to take gun violence seriously and reject any person who would try to justify senseless gun-related deaths — especially the deaths of children.”
