Speaking during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Democratic National Committee fundraiser Lindy Li sounded off on what she characterized as utterly non-sensical “delusions” from the Democrats about Kamala Harris and her campaign, saying that it is nonsense to think Kamala can or should try running again.
As background, Harris lost the election handily, losing not just the majority of swing states but all of them, but still reportedly thinks she has a political future. Particularly, recent reports have revealed that the former United States Senator from California is considering running for the governorship of California.
Li, commenting on how ridiculous it is that Democrats are even pretending to take Kamala’s ambitions seriously, said, “This is not what America wants. November 5th was a decisive defeat for the Democratic Party. She lost every single swing state. It wasn’t a squeaker like it was in 2016. This was a resounding defeat.”
Li went on to add that it is ridiculous to think Americans would support Harris given what they recently said about her via the election. She said, “Right now, Kamala Harris is indulging in delusions of running for governor of California, possibly in 2026 or even president again in 2028. America has said, ‘We don’t want to be coconut-pilled. We do not want Kamala Harris. We don’t want failed border policies.”
Continuing, Li, who had just noted that on e of the main concerns American had with Kamala was that she seemed unserious about solving the border crisis, noted that the party generally had failed on the issue of the border. She said, “I feel like I’m liberated, and I can finally tell the truth that the Democrats completely failed on the border.”
Li then argued that she sees the Democratic Party as turning into something of a cult, where dissent is stifled rather than the free flow of ideas being encouraged, saying, “I lost tens of thousands of followers because I dared to tell the truth. Because in a cult, you can’t tell the truth. You can’t ask any questions, but I’m done with that.”
Still not done, she argued that the various culture war issues are common sense, saying, “I’m probably going to get canceled again for what I am about to say — men are men and women are women, and it’s an issue when men are trouncing women in women’s sports. This should not be a controversial take. This is common sense,”
She then noted that the it is only because the Democrats are so far removed from the average American that they don’t understand that, saying, “The American people understand that the Democratic Party, they exist in their ivory towers that are so far removed from reality, and these ridiculous [culture] wars are not what Americans care about.”
And, adding what people actually care about, she said, “We care about bread and butter issues. We care about putting food on the table, sending our kids to school, strong borders, not having millions of people rush to the border, and I’m a naturalized immigrant myself. Just because you care about these issues doesn’t make you a sexist, racist.”
