“If Only He Voted Like He Talks…”: Lying, Two-Faced Democrat Again Skewered for Presenting Himself as a Moderate While Always Voting with Schumer

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) is once again getting shredded on social media by conservatives who feel his attempts to come off as a moderate in the media don’t line up with his actions as he continues to vote along with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), with many referring to him as being “two-faced” in his politics.

A video clip that has resurfaced on X features Fetterman sitting down for an interview on Fox News where he rips into the Democratic Party for associating with the deeply hateful, anti-Semitic Hasan Piker and for not throwing their support behind Israel. “I mean, it’s crazy. It’s crazy,” the senator said in reference to his party’s support of Piker.

“I mean, my God, you have many of in my party, they’re proud to do events like that with Hasan Piker. Now, this is the individual that just recently said that America deserved Nine-Eleven and said that Hamas is 1,000% better than Israel. He doesn’t care about the rapes and calls Jews inbred and says these outlandish things,” Fetterman continued.

He then called out mainstream media outlets for praising Piker, saying, “And then, like the New York TImes gives these glowing kinds of profiles, and they don’t mention any of that. I mean, he’s become such a raging anti-Semite, you know, even the guy that has a Nazi tattoo bailed on doing an event with him. I mean, Democrats have to decide. Whose side are you on? Are you proud to stand with that kind of an individual or stand with Israel?”

A commenter on the viral video admitted Fetterman is correct in his assessment of Democrats and Piker, but noted that his voting record tells a different story. “Yeah — Fetterman is right — Now if he only voted like he talks — He doesn’t — He will vote 100% with Democrats if his vote matters on any issue.” Another commenter agreed.

“He says the right things but he always ends up voting the opposite way. Don’t waste too much time giving him credit. Action is always more important than cheap words,” the user wrote. The American Tribune previously reported that while Fetterman has positioned himself as a moderate when it comes to voter ID, he’s opposed the broader SAVE America Act, which has already passed in the House of Representatives.

The Pennsylvania Democrat referred to the legislation as being “needlessly complicated,” while slamming it for targeting secure mail-in voting. Critics took notice of the contradiction between Fetterman’s rhetoric and his voting record after he voted against a Senate voter ID amendment, accusing him of duplicity.

In another viral post, a user pointed out, “Senator Fetterman (D-PA) voted against the voter ID amendment. He is NOT for the SAVE America Act & he does NOT support voter ID,” highlighting the gap between his promises and actual votes.” While seemingly stating he’s in support of voter ID, Fetterman has also made it clear he will oppose the SAVE Act, believing the bill to be too complex.

“I’m not [that kind of] Democrat. That’s not going to freak out. You know, the world didn’t end. What happened in Wisconsin and in Georgia, for example, Georgia, which I think read, I think we’d agree, and after the law, they elected two Democratic senators too,” the Democratic senator said, adding, “I have said it’s not Jim Crow, and it’s not extreme things, but mail-in voting is absolutely secure. Some of the best examples in the country are red states like Florida and Ohio.”
