“If Looks Could Kill”: Melania Gives Establishment Politicians Withering Stare at Funeral and the Internet Loves It [WATCH

Former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral occurred on Thursday, January 9, and featured a wide cast of political characters. Amongst the many figures who attended, the Clintons were there, the Bushes were there, Barack Obama appeared minus Michelle because she was vacationing in Hawaii, Doug Emhoff and Kamala Harris were there, Mike and Karen Pence attended and Karen snubbed Melania, and the Trumps showed up.

In addition to the incident in which Karen Pence refused to shake the hand of Melania Trump, something that drew outrage given Melania’s generally friendly demeanor and the fact that she did nothing against Pence on the January 6 incident or before it, one moment that took off online was where Melania stared down the various enemies of her husband with a withering look.

One X account posted a picture of Melania delivering her sharp look and said, commenting on how Melania both looked like a “stone cold killer” as she stared at them and knew what would be appropriate to wear, “Melania is a stone cold killer–the most serious person there. She could easily dress up and be a 10. She dresses down, little make up and shows up the way she should in the moment. She’s way more interesting than all the others there.”

In a comment explaining why Melania seemed to look so angry as she stared at her husband’s rivals and enemies, that same poster said, “Look at what’s happening next to her. Obama has basically called her husband ‘Hitler’ and she’s supposed to be casual? She’s grieving her mother’s passing but she’s also keeping it very real.”

A commenter on that post noted that Melania really showed her strength when she attended the event despite the hostility of those there and it being the anniversary of her mother’s passing, saying, “I read yesterday it was also the anniversary of her mother’s death (I think I got the correct parent), so she was dealing with her own grief while having to sit calmly in the lion’s den. she’s a strong lady and I admire her.”

Another X (formerly Twitter) poster, using a similar picture of a gorgeous looking Melania staring down Kamala and Doug Emhoff while also appearing to cast a not minor bit of side-eye at Barack Obama and the Bushes, wrote, “If looks could kill….Check out Melania….she’s like ‘you pack of f*ckers’😂😂”

And, posting a short clip of Melania delivering a whithering stare, another poster wrote, “This is a tough gig for Melania” because “these vipers [tried] to ruin her and her husband’s lives,” and, “today marks the one year anniversary of losing her mother, her best friend. 😔🥺💔” That poster added, “Our First Lady woman is strong and resilient. She is a force to be reckoned with. ❤️ .@MELANIATRUMP.” Watch that clip here:

Also commenting on the stare, still another person who posted a screenshot of Melania giving her whithering stare to those who surrounded her and her husband argued that she was intentionally directing her angry energy toward the Democrats, saying, “Melania is giving the democrats that look. She knows what they did.”
