U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Boston recently announced the arrest of five illegal aliens over the course of the past month who were wanted for heinous violent crimes, including murder, in their home countries. Several of the suspects also had Interpol Red Notices out on them. The agency revealed the arrests in a post made on social media platform X.

The published post said that “each illegally entered the United States during the Biden administration’s disastrous open border policy.’’ ICE then revealed that the illegal immigrants were taken into custody in New England and were criminals wanted overseas for serious violent offenses, including homicide and attempted homicide.

‘‘ERO Boston has always been—and will continue to be—strongly committed to targeted enforcement actions against the most dangerous criminal aliens, ensuring the safety and security of our New England communities,’’ ICE Boston’s post read. The arrests demonstrate ICE’s dedication to detaining foreign nationals who have been accused of serious crimes around the world.

According to Fox News, officials revealed the identities of the five suspects as “Magno Jose Dos Santos, who was arrested on March 22 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and is wanted in Brazil on charges of homicide and attempted homicide tied to a May 12, 2021, incident.” The agency also provided details on the five suspects and the crimes they committed that landed them in hot water with Interpol.

Bryan Rafael Gomez was arrested on April 4, 2026, in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is the subject of an Interpol Red Notice for committing murder and is also wanted by authorities in the Dominican Republic. For those who might not be familiar, an Interpol Red Notice is an international request to locate and provisionally arrest an individual wanted for a crime pending extradition.

Another of the five suspects, Altieris Chaves Paiva was taken into custody the following day in Falmouth, Massachusetts. He, too, is the subject of an Interpol Red Notice for homicide and is also a wanted criminal by law enforcement authorities in the country of Brazil. Kele Cristian Alves-Pereira was detained on March 13 in Everett, Massachusetts.

Alves-Pereira is wanted in Brazil for murder and is also the subject of an Interpol Red Notice. ICE says she has a “777” tattoo located on her neck and a teardrop tattoo beneath her eye. Typically, the “777” tattoo is representative of good luck and spiritual protection, while the teardrop typically symbolizes involvement in either prison or gang culture and represents personal loss.

Finally, Danny Granados-Garcia was picked up by ICE officers on March 10 in Waterbury, Connecticut. He is a wanted fugitive in the nation of El Salvador. Granados-Garcia is also facing an arrest warrant that was issued on February 11, 2026, for charges related to aggravated homicide and an alleged membership in a terrorist organization.

Individuals on the post shared by ICE on X weighed in on the arrest of the five suspects, with one individual writing, “The fact the Mayor and Governor support not knowing who is walking amongst the innocent citizens while they have bodyguards is so vile. How on earth is anyone ok with not vetting anyone crossing our borders?”
