In big news showing the Trump Administration’s substantial push toward securing communities within America to defend Americans from the mass migration across the border allowed by Biden and prior presidents, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released a statement in which it described taking a “significant threat” off the streets.
Announcing the good news in a press release and describing what horrid crime the man was accused of, ICE said, ‘U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement apprehended an illegally present Salvadoran national charged with raping a Massachusetts resident when officers arrested Jose Garcia-Salmeron, 34, in Boston Jan. 22.”
Continuing, the press release gave the background of the horrible criminal, noting that he had been arrested and released before. That section began, “U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested Garcia July 16, 2007, after he illegally entered the United States and issued him a notice to appear before a Department of Justice immigration judge.”
Building on that, it provided that he was released and then ordered deported, noting, “They then transferred Garcia to the Office of Refugee Resettlement, which released him from custody Aug. 31, 2007. An immigration judge ordered Garcia removed from the United States to El Salvador on Nov. 11, 2007.”
Further, the press release noted that his next recorded encounter will immigration authorities came over a decade and a half later: “ERO Boston encountered Garcia July 2, 2024, following his arrest by the Revere Police Department in Massachusetts, and issued an immigration detainer against him with the Nashua Street Jail in Boston.”
Describing the crim of which he was accused in the summer of 2024, when the Biden Administration’s soft-on-illegal immigration stance and Boston’s pro-illegal immigrant attitude remained in effect, it noted, “The Chelsea District Court arraigned Garcia July 3, 2024, on a charge of rape, which was indicted to Suffolk Superior Court, Boston.”
The statement then noted that the illegal immigrant was, despite his horrible crime and an immigration detainer placed on him, released from custody by local authorities. It said, “The Chelsea District Court in Massachusetts ignored ERO Boston’s immigration detainer and released Garcia from custody July 26, 2024.” It finally added, “Garcia remains in ERO custody.”

Quoted in the statement was ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston acting Field Office Director Patricia H. Hyde, who noted that the arrested El Salvadoran illegal had posed a substantial threat to the safety of those in the area, and that moving forward such threats will not be tolerated by the immigration authorities.
She said, beginning the statement by identifying the arrested illegal and noting the sort of horrid threat he poses to those in Massachusetts, “Jose Garcia-Salmeron is charged with victimizing one of our Massachusetts residents and represents a significant threat to the safety of Massachusetts neighborhoods.”
Concluding her statement, the acting ICE field director noted that, at least within her area of responsibility, those sorts of threats won’t be tolerated anymore, saying, “We will not tolerate such threats to our neighbors. ERO Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by targeting, arresting, and removing any illegally present individuals who present such a threat to our New England communities.”
