U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Boston recently announced the arrests of two illegal aliens who have been charged with raping children in Massachusetts, along with a third individual who had been convicted of raping a child in Brazil. The person from Brazil had been hiding in the United States after being apprehended at the border in 2022 and released into the American interior under the Biden-Harris administration.
Notably, the arrests follow the controversial statements from Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey, who maintained that she would not cooperate with the incoming Trump administration’s deportation agenda. Several blue states have asserted that they will comply with Trump on the removal of illegal aliens from their respective states. According to reports, one of the illegal alien suspects from Guatemala, who was charged with raping a child, was released into Massachusetts after authorities had refused to honor a detainer request from ICE.
“Mynor Stiven De Paz-Munoz stands accused of horrifically victimizing a Massachusetts child and represents a significant threat to our neighborhoods,” according to a statement from acting ERO Boston Field Office Director Patricia H. Hyde. “We owe it to the children of our New England communities to prioritize public safety above everything else.”
Hyde continued illustrating the horrific crimes of one of the other arrested individuals. “Billy Erney Buitrago-Bustos stands accused of the most heinous and reprehensible of crimes. We thank our law enforcement partners at the Berkshire County Jail and House of Correction for prioritizing public safety and protecting children in the communities they were appointed to serve,” Hyde said.
“Alexandre Romao De Oliveira is a convicted child rapist who fled his home country to evade justice,” Hyde added. “Enhancing public safety starts with cooperation between law enforcement partners. Bringing this fugitive to justice is a direct result of the collaboration between ERO Boston, the ICE attaché offices around the globe, and our foreign law enforcement counterparts.”
The American Tribune recently reported on other developments surrounding President-elect Trump’s mass deportation agenda. The state of Texas recently expressed that it is “100% on board” with Trump’s plans, offering over 1,400 acres of land in the Rio Grande Valley sector near the southern border to assist with deporting illegal aliens.
Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham said the state is “fully prepared to enter into an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or the United States Border Patrol to allow a facility to be built for the processing, detention, and coordination of the largest deportation of violent criminals in the nation’s history.”
“What I care about is that we have safe communities, and there is no doubt that we are losing too many of our children to these violent criminals that are coming across the border,” she added. “I am 100% on board with the Trump administration’s pledge to get these criminals out of our country, and we are more than happy to offer our resources to facilitate those deportations of these violent criminals.”
