“I think Trump’s Gonna be President Again”: Famous Rapper 50 Cent Predicts Election Outcome

Famous rapper 50 Cent recently took to social media, where he offered his opinion on the outcome of the upcoming presidential election.  Simultaneously, the musician and entrepreneur seemed to suggest that other news, such as the raids of rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ homes, is merely a distraction from more important events.

In a post to X, 50 wrote, “The world’s almost over so what are we worried about. Who ever made this is fvcked up. I think Trumps gonna be president again, but I’m not gonna say that.”  Below the message was a bizarre yet comical artificial intelligence-generated fake video of former President Trump making a crass statement about P Diddy.

The fake Trump voice informed Diddy that he should have he should have refrained from consorting with the likes of musician R. Kelly, a convicted sex trafficker.  “Puffy, Puffy, Puffy, you stupid a** n***a, I told you stop f***ing with R. Kelly, I said, ‘Grab them in the p***y,’ don’t kidnap the p***y,” the fabricated Trump voice said in the video.  “They raided your sh*t, I see. I got a courtesy call when they raided my house. You really f***ed up, my n***a. Can I get a copy of the Meek Mill sex tape? Please, n***a,” the AI voice continued.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ properties in both Los Angeles and Miami were raided on Monday in connection to a sex trafficking investigation.  Social media has been swirling recently with allegations that Diddy has been involved in illicit activities.

50 Cent, also known as Curtis James Jackson III, has not shied away from making politicized statements, particularly surrounding former President Trump.  In 2020, the rapper seemingly entertained the idea of supporting Trump.  “WHAT THE F—! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT. F— NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f—— mind,” he wrote, referring to apparent higher taxes that would occur under Joe Biden’s leadership.

Expectedly, 50 Cent’s comment was met with outrage from the left.  Following the backlash, Jackson eventually retracted his seeming endorsement of Trump, claiming he “never liked him” on social media.  For example, 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend, comedian Chelsea Handler, called him out, insinuating that he shouldn’t support Trump because of his race.

“He says he doesn’t want to pay 62 percent in taxes — which, by the way, isn’t a plan of Joe Biden’s, that’s a lie — so he doesn’t want to pay 62 percent in taxes because he doesn’t want to go from being 50 Cent to 20 Cent,” Handler told Jimmy Fallon regarding 50 Cent’s comments. “I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump, and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook,” she continued.

As a New York native, 50 Cent has also criticized Democratic New York Mayor Eric Adams over a recent program to roll out prepaid debit cards to illegal immigrants.  “WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works. Somebody explain,” the rapper said.
