At the highly anticipated reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in France, a woman sang a beautiful, awe-inspiring rendition of “Amazing Grace” within the walls of the historical Christian monument.  After a devastating fire destroyed the 861-year-old cathedral roughly five years ago, Notre Dame was finally reopened on December 8.  The unveiling of the reconstructed building drew leaders from around the world, including President-elect Donald Trump, in a display of unity around the building.

The amazing performance was delivered by South African opera singer Pretty Yende, who has been known for singing at high-profile events, such as the coronation of King Charles III in Westminster Abbey.  Footage of Yende’s moving concert was shared to social media, having been viewed by millions, where many users on social media reacted in awe to her unparalleled voice.

The Marjorie Taylor Green Press Release (Parody) account shared the clip on X, writing, “BREAKING 🚨 This young lady stunned the world and sang ‘Amazing Grace’ in France at the Notre Dame Cathedral.  Jesus Christ truly is King. I am brought to tears 🙏”.   The account added, “Truly incredible to see the world coming together.  America is back 🇺🇸”

Longtime Senior Advisor to President Trump Bruce LeVell applauded the astonishing rendition of the famous Christian hymn, writing, “BREAKING 🚨 This young woman captivated the world with her powerful rendition of “Amazing Grace” at the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral in France. God’s strength is shining brightly all over the world!”
