House Republicans Take Major Action to Ensure Deportation of Rioting Illegal Aliens

In response to an unprecedented wave of riots that brought the city of Los Angeles to its knees, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) introduced a House bill that would deport non-U.S. citizens convicted of assaulting law enforcement during declared emergencies, permanently barring them from the U.S. In his epic condemnation, he slammed violent illegals for violating the “social contract.”

For context, since June 7, 2025, violent mobs have thrown Los Angeles into chaos, echoing the 2020 riots. Claiming to oppose Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions, they’ve torched cars, attacked police, and burned flags. Democrats have cynically seized on these protests to push their anti-Trump narrative.

In any case, Dan Chrenshaw explained the reasoning for the bill. He said, “The thing about breaking the law is, there’s effectively a waiving of your constitutional rights that’s sort of inherent in our system, right? When you go to prison, you’re losing your liberty.”

Building out his argument, the former Navy SEAL stated, “So this is a very normal thing, and in the case of say, people who are here legally, but then committing acts of violence – in this case, we’re being really specific, during a national emergency, committing assaults against police officers, and destruction of property – that should have an effect and be on the list of things that allows for revocation of your status.”

Still not done, the Texas Democrat declared, “What it would do is, it would give the administration the option to say, yeah, we’ve rounded all these people up, half of them are U.S. citizens, okay, you’re going to jail for rioting. Maybe another quarter are illegals, well, that’s easy, you can deport them.”

Concluding his remarks, Crenshaw said, “But what about the other quarter? You know, that might be…a number of legal aliens here rioting against America for enforcing our immigration laws. In our minds, you’ve violated that sort of social contract with the United States at that point.”

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, on June 10, 2025, Rep. Crenshaw posted, “New rule: If you’re a non-citizen and you start hurling bricks at police officers or destroy American taxpayer’s property, you leave the country and can never come back. That’s the RIOT Act.”

In another statement to the social media platform, the Republican declared, “After sitting back and letting LA burn for three days (& taking time to sue President Trump for trying to get things under control), Gavin Newsom is politely asking the rioters to go home.”

Continuing his thought, Rep. Crenshaw stated, “This is exactly why my bill to deport illegals who attack cops, the RIOT Act, has a mandatory enforcement clause. Weak, activist governors won’t do their jobs unless there are serious consequences.”

In the comments under Crenshaw’s post, conservatives added their one reactions to the bill. One such comment read, “Shouldn’t even need new legislation for this to the applied. I mean, if I go Mexico and chuck bricks at their govt officials, pretty sure I’d be invited to leave; that is, after a sufficiently long visit to one of their 4-star prisons…..”
