House Approves Bill Criminalizing Transgender Surgeries, Treatment for Minors

In a major win for the GOP and conservatives everywhere, the House successfully passed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) bill to criminalize all gender-transition treatments for minors, including puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries, in a narrow 216-211 vote.

Surprisingly, three Democrats joined most Republicans in support; four Republicans opposed it. On social media, Greene celebrated the victory, declaring children “NOT experiments” and stating “Congress must protect America’s children!!!”  Woke leftwing NGOs, such as the ACLU, condemned the bill as devastating to transgender youth and a dangerous precedent that puts politicians between families and doctors.

In her initial comments posted to X, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said, “Children are NOT experiments. No more drugs. No more surgeries. No more permanent harm. We need to let kids grow up without manipulation from adults to make life-altering decisions! Congress must protect America’s children!!!”

Then, reacting to the bill successfully passing the House, Greene issued a triumphant post. “VICTORY! The House just PASSED my bill to CRIMINALIZE child genital mutilation and chemical castration! No more transgender surgeries, puberty blockers, or hormones for kids,” she exclaimed, “Children deserve to grow up protected from permanent harm. Thank you President Trump for your leadership—this is just the beginning!”

Freaking out in response, Mike Zamore, the ACLU national director of policy and government affairs, issued a breathless reaction. “Politicians should never prohibit parents from doing what is best for their transgender children,” the disgusting activist whined.

Still not done opposing this common-sense bill, Zamore doubled down. “These families often spend years considering how best to support their children, only to have ill-equipped politicians interfere by attempting to criminalize the health care that they, their children, and their doctors believe is necessary to allow their children to thrive,” he said.

Adding to that with yet more of a freakout, the ACLU employee declared, “But this bill also creates an incredibly dangerous precedent far beyond the specific care at issue, criminalizing care based on ideology and placing Washington politicians between families and their doctors.” Concluding his hysterical comments, he claimed, “We strongly condemn the passage of this measure and urge members of the Senate to do everything in their power to prevent it from ever becoming law.”

Also railing against this clearly reasonable bill was James Esseks, the ACLU LGBTQ & HIV Project Director. He whined, “This cruel bill would jail doctors for providing standard, life-saving health care that every major medical association supports. Trans kids just want to live authentically and be healthy—politicians have no place criminalizing that.”

Similarly, Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), who is well known for her radical stance on the issue, reacted theatrically. “I will fight tooth and nail to stop this discriminatory bill in the Senate. Denying medically necessary care to transgender youth is not protection—it’s cruelty,” Baldwin vowed.

Infamous woke Democrat, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (WA), who has a transgender child, lost her mind as well. “As a proud mom of a trans child, I know firsthand that gender-affirming care saves lives. This bill is an attack on loving families and will cause unimaginable pain,” Jayapal raved.
