In the wake of the horrific school shooting in Nashville this past Monday, Democrats have churned out their predictable talking points. Little has been mentioned about the victims, three of whom in this case were nine-year-olds or the evil perpetrated by the mass murderer.
Instead, Democrats in office, in the media, and in Hollywood would have everyone believe it is the fault of an inanimate object. Going a step further, though, they’d also like everyone to know that the killing is not the fault of the killer, but rather Republican lawmakers who choose to honor the second amendment and reality.
Disney actor Josh Gad, perhaps known for his work on Frozen and the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, is one of the clueless “celebrities” who weighed in on the premeditated bloodshed of young people and other innocents in the private Christian school.
“The GOP have decided that guns are more important than kids,” Gad said in reaction to the news a self-identifying transgender individial carried mutliple firearms into the school and began killing the people inside, adding, “they have decided it is okay to let kids die.”
His full tweet stated: “The GOP have decided that guns are more important than kids. There are no two ways to look at this situation. It doesn’t matter how many children are massacred. They have decided it is okay to let kids die. Not mind you read certain books. That’s unacceptable. But dying is fine.”

Of course, Gad is an idiot, and at the end of the day, the only person responsible for killing six innocent people is the person who pulled the trigger. There is a strong argument to be made that the transgender murderer was radicalized by the left.
Only an intellectual and moral idiot would come away from this situation thinking Republicans were in the wrong here. What’s more, Gad and his ilk removed police from communities and schools in the wake of the George Floyd Riots in 2020; although a growing number of conservatives don’t want public schools to exist at all, what’s clear is that children deserve armed protection wherever they congregate en masse. It seems likely Gad would be opposed to a police presence in schools, but that is the only solution that could even begin to address the new realities of psychopathic killers targeting unprotected, currently gun-free zones.
Exposing Gad as a fraud was an excellent tweet by an account known only as AG. He wrote:
“If I understand this correctly: If a shooter has right-wing views, then the right’s rhetoric is responsible. if the shooter has left-wing views, then the right’s policies are responsible. Very convenient.”

Basically, it’s always Republicans’, conservatives’, or the Right’s fault, no matter what happens.
Gad also ignored the killer’s manifesto, which is believed to include passages suggesting that transgender identity played a big role in the shooting.
During a press conference following the shooting, Nashville Police Chief John Drake was asked if the murderer’s identity as a trans person played a role. “There is some theory to that,” Drake admitted, adding, “We can give you that at a later time.”
“We have a manifesto,” Drake went on to say. “We have some writings that we’re going over that pertain to this date of the actual incident. We have a map drawn out of how this was all going to take place. There’s right now a theory of — that we may be able to talk about later, but it’s not confirmed.”
“It was” a targeted attack based on both the identity of the shooter and nature of the shooting site, Drake continued.
