With Donald Trump Back On Twitter, it’s worth taking a retrospective look at some of his greatest “highlights” over the years. It’s also worth noting that prior to his ban for allegedly fomenting an insurrection, some of his final tweets included pleas to “remain peaceful” and not engage in violence.
I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!
This tweet captures the insane disconnect between what the left wants to believe happened and what more likely happened that day, but it isn’t exactly a laughing matter. There is nothing funny about America housing political prisoners and persecuting a rival political party for simply believing in freedom.
Trump’s return also makes things rather uncomfortable for all those Never Trumpers:
Libs traded away cheap gas, low prices, and world peace for no mean tweets
And now they’re getting the mean tweets anyway 😂😂😂😂

As far as Trump’s tweets go, though, the man is simply a legend. There is no other way to put it; his tweets – one manifestation of his appeal to tens of millions of Americans – demonstrate that Trump reveres no sacred cows and is willing to go after anyone that deserves it. He spoke past the political correctness, said what we all think and feel, and it captured the hearts of so many of us. Finally, a politician called it like he saw it and spoke bluntly and honestly.
Now, in no particular order, let’s take a look at some of Trump’s best moments on Twitter.
Starting off, nothing melted minds like Trump’s participation in the so-called “birther” movement that questioned the birthplace of former president Barack Obama. We have to go back ten years for these gems.
An 'extremely credible source' has called my office and told me that @BarackObama's birth certificate is a fraud.

Let's take a closer look at that birth certificate. @BarackObama was described in 2003 as being "born in Kenya." http://t.co/vfqJesJL

Fast forward to his presidency, and Trump then went on a tear against North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, to whom the president referred as “Rocketman.”
North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 3, 2018
Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me "old," when I would NEVER call him "short and fat?" Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!

His political jabs were on point, but perhaps Trump’s greatest appeal and success on the platform derived from his attacks on the cultural elite. Ranging from Rosie O’Donnell, to Bette Midler, and even just generalized takes on drinking Diet Coke, Trump was always hilarious. Here are a few of our favorites.
I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.

He also had a flair for hyping himself, as seen in a 2013 tweet about his IQ:
Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don't feel so stupid or insecure,it's not your fault

Here is he going after far-left news purveyor Arianna Huffintgon.
.@ariannahuff is unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man- he made a good decision.

And Rosie:
Rosie O'Donnell just said she felt "shame" at being fat-not politically correct! She killed Star Jones for weight loss surgery, just had it!

It remains to be seen if Trump will return to the platform now that Elon Musk has lifted his ban. If he does, is it time for more hilarious tweets?
