Harvard Student Exposes How the School Is Still Discriminating Against Conservatives

Speaking in a powerful interview with Fox News Digital, a current college student at Harvard University exposed how the longtime leftist university has not reformed, despite the admissions of leftist bias by the university president, and is still engaging in systemic bias against conservative students.

For reference, Harvard University President Garber, commenting on things at the school in a podcast recorded live in Boston, noted that the school took a wrong turn when it started letting professors push their political views on students who might not be willing to stand up to and disagree with them.

“That’s what has shifted, and that’s where I think we went wrong,” Garber said. He added, “Because think about it: If a professor in a classroom says, ‘This is what I believe about this issue,’ how many students — some of you probably would be prepared to deal with this, but most people wouldn’t — how many students would actually be willing to go toe-to-toe with a professor who expressed a firm view about a controversial issue?”

Well, nothing has changed, as Tejas Billa, a sophomore at Harvard, explained in a statement to Fox News Digital, saying that conservative students are made to feel unwelcome in many of the school’s departments, particularly certain classes run by notoriously far-left professors.

Speaking on the matter to Fox News Digital, Billa explained that political bias is certainly a very real issue, saying, “I do absolutely think it’s a systemic issue. I’d say that President Garber’s comments were really in line with what a lot of the reports and the investigations into them found, which is that there are a lot of political biases.”

Building on that, Billa noted how many courses in Harvard are known for having a “political bias towards, generally, the left.” So, he said, conservative students have to be warned not to take certain classes, particularly in the social sciences department, so as to avoid being harassed and targeted by professors.

“There’s been a lot of pretty well documented instances of professors rescheduling classes to allow students to attend a left-wing protest,” Billa said, commenting on how professors at the formerly top-notch institution are known for pushing their far-left political views on students, and making their radical politics known, to the detriment of learning.

Billa further noted that the sort of bias for which professors are known has had a real effect in the classroom, saying, “That was in the task force report and I think that absolutely has an effect on, you know, the students in the class and what they’re willing to say in the class and at school more broadly.”

Additionally, Billa commented on how Trump is attempting to yank funding from the university, telling Fox News Digital, “I also think that there were a lot of these sorts of instances of political bias, of antisemitism that just kept building until they really reached a breaking point in the last couple of years. People realized how bad the situation has gotten and how it’s actually impacting students a whole ton.”

President Trump, for his part, has suggested stripping money from Harvard and giving it to trade schools, saying that doing so would be a far better investment than funneling more money to Harvard, writing, “I am considering taking Three Billion Dollars of Grant Money away from a very antisemitic Harvard, and giving it to TRADE SCHOOLS all across our land. What a great investment that would be for the USA, and so badly needed!!!”
