“God is Real”: Chris Pratt Preaches to the Audience when Given Three Minutes to “Impart Wisdom” [WATCH]

Actor Chris Pratt has shown in recent years that he is unafraid to speak loudly about what he believes in, even if it makes the Hollywood Elites uncomfortable. In an Instagram post yesterday, Pratt did exactly that, re-sharing a clip of his acceptance speech after winning the MTV Generation Award in 2018.

In the clip (below), Pratt shares what he considers to be his 9 most important rules for life. Unsurprisingly, despite some of the rules being funny gags, his strong Christian faith shines through to become of the prominent of all the rules.

Among the rules were some funny moments where Pratt instructs the audience to breathe since forgetting to do so would be highly detrimental to life. In another rule, which I won’t force you to read, Pratt explains his ideal way to use the bathroom at a party. Those kinds of rules might lead people to think that this speech would simply be another funny moment from a comedy actor, but things took an amazing turn.

Rule number 2: “You have a soul, be careful with it.”

Rule number 5: “It doesn’t matter what ‘it’ is… Earn it. A good deed, reach out to someone in pain, be of service. It feels good”

Rule number 6: “God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that, I do.”

Rule number 8: “Learn to pray. It’s easy, and it’s so good for your soul.”

Rule number 9: “Nobody is perfect. People are going to tell you ‘you’re perfect just the way you are’. You’re not. You are imperfect. You always will be, but there is a powerful force that designed you that way. And if you’re willing to accept that, you will have grace, and grace is a gift. And like the freedom that we enjoy in this country, that grace was paid for with somebody else’s blood. Do not forget it. Don’t take it for granted. God bless you.”

Pratt won over many movie fans with that speech, and he hasn’t given up on his mission to be authentic beliefs and spread what he holds nearest to his heart. In November, he took time to post a thank you video to America’s servicemen and women along with the rest of his cast from The Terminal List, an unapologetically pro-USA TV show.

He also pushed back against the Liberal agenda that is ever-present in Hollywood and endorsed the Republican mayoral candidate in Los Angeles, saying the following:

“I don’t normally support political candidates. But in this election, there’s too much to lose. If you’re an LA voter, I urge you to vote for @rickcarusola. He’s a builder. He knows how to get s*** done. He’s the guy for our city. Rick Caruso for LA Mayor.”

Chris Pratt is continuing to blaze forward on a path that hopefully, many other stars will follow him on. To be authentic and strong in one’s belief is no easy task when in the public eye all the time, but the good that can be done by someone in Pratt’s position is immense.
