Garth Brooks is now in hot, hot water for praising country music superstar Morgan Wallen, who just won massively at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
Wallen, who now is on six weeks of medical rest for vocal trauma after having to cancel a show at the last minute because of that vocal chord trauma, just won the Male Artist of the Year award at the ACM Awards on Thursday night. That is the second major ACM Awards win for Morgan Wallen; he also swept up the Album of the Year award in 2022 for “Dangerous: The Double Album.”

Garth Brooks praised Wallen for that hard-won win, saying “We all know what it takes to win this award, to win it is one thing, to not be here to get it must be killing him, so let’s celebrate for Morgan Wallen,” Brooks said at the event, as The Sun reported.
Predictably, the wokies were furious at Brooks for daring to praise Wallen. “Audience giving a standing ovation to Morgan Wallen is disgusting. So is Garth hyping him up,” one angry commenter on Twitter wrote.
“Morgan wallen winning male country artist of the year over Chris Stapleton and Luke combs is a joke,” another commenter said.
For reference, Wallen has had an amazing year despite the aforementioned vocal chord trauma and the left’s cancellation attempt on him. Reporting on his massive success and that cancellation attempt on him on The American Tribune, we said:
Morgan Wallen continues to defy the mainstream media who want him canceled. The country singer released his album “One Thing at a Time” earlier this year and has found himself at the top of country music charts since.
Wallen’s success in sales did not correlate to an award at the woke CMTs, but that hasn’t stopped fans from keeping “One Thing at a Time” atop Billboard’s Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 album charts, says the Daily Caller. “Last Night” the single that tops the Billboard Hot 100, has received over 35,000,000 streams and 30,000,000 impressions on the radio. The song has also held first place on the Streaming Songs chart for a whopping five weeks. The Daily Caller wrote this about “Last Night”:
“The excellent track first hit the top spot back in February, well before the entire album dropped. It then helped Wallen break a 40-year record for topping both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Hot Country Songs charts. No artist had held both positions since 1981, when Eddie Rabbitts “I Love a Rainy Night” hit both positions.”
For those who are not in the know, Wallen had a run-in with the cancelation police when he was caught on a video saying the “n-word” after a night out drinking with a couple of his buddies. Ever since then, the left has been out to get him. Even following the apology tour that the country star embarked on, the talking heads continue to clamor for his downfall. Despite all that, fans are still eager to hear the newest release from Morgan Wallen.
