“Game Over” for Fani: MSBNC Analyst Argues DA’s Trump Case is Dead after Courtroom Shocker

Fulton County DA Fani Willis and her admitted lover, Nathan Wade, had to testify in a courtroom hearing on Thursday, February 15, and it went less than well. Particularly, it has emerged that DA Willis lied about the timeline of her relationship with Nathan Wade. According to a legal analyst on MSNBC, that revelation means that DA Willis’ case is dead.

That revelation came from Robin Yeartie, a self-described former “good friend” of DA Willis. Yeartie was asked about the relationship between DA Willis and Mr. Wade by Alison Merchant, who asked, “You have no doubt that their romantic relationship was in effect from 2019 until the last time you spoke with her?” Yeartie said she has “no doubt.”

Continuing, Merchant drove the point home, asking Yeartie, “And that’s based on your personal observations and… speaking with them and seeing them together and things like that?” Yeartie answered in the affirmative, telling Merchant, “Yes.”

Yeartie’s testimony is important because it contradicts a claim made in an earlier filing from DA Willis in which she and Wade claimed their relationship did not begin until 2022, after Willis had appointed Wade as one of three special prosecutors in her RICO case against Trump. If their relationship began in 2019, as Yeartie and others contend, that would mean they were in a relationship when she appointed him to the position in 2021.

Commenting on the importance of that revelation and what it means for the case, MSNBC legal analyst Caroline Polisi said, “Don’t let the legalese fool you.” She continued, “This is epic. This is monumental. If things are going in the direction we think, Fani Willis lied to the court, it’s game over for her. She will be disqualified. If they had a relationship prior to when they represented truth to the court, it’s a huge deal. I can’t overstate.”

Later, in a statement on the matter to Mediaite, Polisi added that she thinks DA Willis will not be disqualified, which will have a catastrophic effect on the Trump RICO case. She said, “Willis will be disqualified, which means her entire office is disqualified, which means the case will have to be re-assigned and languish with the PAC of Georgia, effectively killing the case. Her credibility is completely shot.”

Former President Donald Trump, posting about the matter on Truth Social, said, “They’re talking about the Georgia “Fani Scandal” all over the World. In fact, by far, it is trending #1. I can’t believe the Georgia State Judiciary, or the Governor, can be happy about this humiliating embarrassment. It was a FAKE CASE from the start, and now everybody sees it for what it is, a MAJOR LEAGUE SCANDAL! The legal pundits, experts, and scholars are all screaming that this Witch Hunt, which has hurt so many fine people and patriots, should be immediately terminated and permanently erased from everyone’s memory. The stench of what has happened should shame Georgia no longer. It should get back to GREATNESS, and FAST!!!”
