Fundraiser for 73 year-Old Arizona Man Held On $1-Million Dollar Bond Rakes in Massive Donations After Go Fund Me CANCELS Campaign

George Alan Kelly, 73, is an Arizona rancher who was arrested last week after he allegedly shot to death an illegal immigrant that was on his property. He was then locked up in jail by the local police and kept on a $1 million bail.

Mr. Kelly requested that the court decrease the bail amount so that he could pay it and return home to his wife, saying “She’s there by herself … nobody to take care of her, the livestock. Or the ranch. And I’m not going anywhere. I can’t come up with a million dollars. Is there … Would you consider reducing it to any degree?”

Predictably, the woke court refused and kept him locked up. However, there is a bright spot for Mr. Kelly: there are many out there willing to donate and help him in his legal battle. A man named Jeff Marsh began a campaign for the Rancher and family following Go Fund Me’s Suspension and has raked in almost 40k for Mr. Kelly’s bail in less than 24 hours with a goal of ultimately raising $100k to pay for his legal bills.

When the campaign reaches its goal Marsh has vowed to fly to Arizona and bail out Kelly so he may properly defend himself from the charges and take care of his wife, family, and farm.

The GiveSendGo page provides more details about Mr. Kelly’s arrest, the shooting, and what the fundraiser is for, saying:

I have received many requests to set up this fundraiser page on GiveSendGo as well.

GEORGE ALAN KELLY is a 73-year-old rancher that lives in Nogales, AZ, on the border of Mexico. He has been trying to protect his family and ranch from illegal aliens, that have REPEATEDLY TRESPASSED and HARRASSED him. He allegedly shot and killed a trespasser. HE IS THE ONE SITTING IN JAIL THIS MORNING! Not the illegal aliens. He is being held on $1,000,000.00 bail.

It is a tragedy that a simple farmer, who should be protected by the government has been abandoned and must defend himself. The government’s decision to open the borders caused this and the government now wishes to persecute him. They are holding this 73-year-old farmer on $1,000,000.00 bail, which anyone can see is purely political. His wife is there by herself with nobody to protect her, the livestock, or the ranch,

100% of this money will be used to release George from jail.

RELEASE GEORGE ALAN KELLY FROM JAIL!!

GOFUNDME has taken down all fundraising sites for George.  I chose GiveSendGo as they allow freedom of speech.

Also fortunately for Mr. Kelly is that, given the circumstances surrounding his shooting of the illegal immigrant, Arizona’s laws might shield him from criminal liability. As we reporting in our article on his arrest:

Arizona’s laws might mean he has a defense. Under Arizona law, the Daily Mail reports that “deadly force is allowed on one’s own property if the homeowner believes it “immediately necessary” to prevent trespassing.” Here. the illegal immigrants were on his ranch and trespassing.

Additionally, there are “stand your ground” laws that defend the use of physical or deadly force when a homeowner fears a threat and believes the force is necessary.
