Famous Christian evangelist Franklin Graham said earlier this week that Christians should pray for America amid continual talk of a possible arrest of former president Donald Trump. Graham has recently voiced his concerns about various political topics in an attempt to steer the country in the right direction.
Graham tweeted, “We need to pray for our country and where it is headed. The left in Washington and across the country just can’t get their fill of attacking Donald Trump. They are so paranoid of him. The onslaught against him is continual. There’s no question, the media and the left manipulated the last election, and they are scared to death of Donald Trump’s possible return. So, night after night, the media runs negative stories about former President Trump. Now they’re talking about the possibility of arresting him in the hopes that this would prevent him from running for president again—this would be a huge mistake. The charges against him are definitely politically motivated.”

He continued, “I would like to ask Christians across this country to pray specifically for former President @realDonaldTrump, that God’s hand would be upon him, protect him, and direct him in every step he takes—and that God’s will be done. We need to work together to strengthen this nation—not divide and destroy it.”
Trump has also recently posted on social media his thoughts about the potential charges that could be brought against him. Trump said on Truth Social, “Isn’t it terrible that D.A. Bragg refuses to do the right thing and “call it a day?” He would rather indict an innocent man and create years of hatred, chaos, and turmoil, than give him his well deserved “freedom.” The whole Country sees what is going on, and they’re not going to take it anymore. They’ve had enough! There was no Error made, No Misdemeanor, No Crime and, above all, NO CASE. They spied on my campaign, Rigged the Election, falsely Impeached, cheated and lied. They are HUMAN SCUM!”
The former president also said, “Total disarray in the Manhattan D.A.’s Office. Tremendous dissension and chaos because they have NO CASE, and many of the honest people in the Office know it, and want to do the right thing. They think back to the Late, Great, Bob Morgenthau, the best ever, and know what he would have done. JUSTICE FOR ALL!”
Conservative commentator Mark Levin also slammed the looming arrest calling it “soft tyranny.” He said, “How many times have they gone after this man, Donald Trump?…Why are they studying his life like they’re studying an archaeological site?…Every damn one of these cases is bogus. Just like the Mueller case was bogus, just like the phone call to Ukraine was perfectly fine, two bogus impeachments…I tell you, Bastiat was right. The Law has become an ass, as some people have said, and so the people who are pushing this are asses too, as far as I’m concerned…This is a soft tyranny!” It will be very interesting to see what plays out with these rumors of Trump being arrested.
