Recently, San Francisco 49ers rookie player Ricky Pearsall was shot in the chest during a robbery attempt that occurred in the once-beautiful San Francisco. Specifically, he was shot by the attempted robber in San Francisco’s famous Union Square, once a wonderful spot. Fortunately, it appears that Mr. Pearsall is in stable condition and will survive, but in the wake of the shooting former MLB star Mark Mulder still took the opportunity to skewer San Francisco.
As background, Mr. Pearsall was walking around San Francisco in the mid-afternoon and, at about 3:30 pm, was confronted by an alleged armed robber. Mr. Pearsall stood up to the 17-year-old alleged robber, leading to the robber firing one round that struck him in the chest, though managed to avoid any major organs on its path through his body. The alleged robber apparently wanted to steal Mr. Pearsall’s Rolex wristwatch.
Shortly after Mr. Pearsall was shot by the attempted robber, his mother, Erin Persall, took to Facebook and said he was in stable condition, writing, “Update on my baby boy. First and (foremost) I want to thank GOD for protecting my baby boy. He is extremely lucky, GOD shielded him. He was shot in the chest and it exited out his back. Thanks be to GOD it missed his vital organs.” She continued, “He is in good spirits right now. Life is so precious my friends. Please love (each other). My son was spared today by the grace of GOD. Please pray for my baby.”
It was in response to that horrific event that Mark Mulder commented on X (formerly Twitter), saying that the city is a hell hole where some loon could kill you while the far-left residents pretend all is well. He said, “What an absolute hell hole of a city! The mentally ill Libs will still tell you how beautiful it is all while they get mugged and step in shit.”
Mulder’s post came in response to one from X personality Collin Rugg, who said, “JUST IN: San Francisco 49ers first-round pick Ricky Pearsall shot during an attempted robbery in San Francisco. Pearsall, who is a rookie wide receiver, was shot in Union Square. According to the San Francisco Police Department, a physical altercation took place after the thug tried robbing Pearsall. The suspect then shot Pearsall. Both the suspect, who apparently shot themself on accident, and Pearsall were sent to the hospital. The NFL rookie is reportedly in stable condition.”
Responding to Mr. Mulder’s post, one commenter noted that the city must be taking a large financial hit by allowing so much crime, writing, “This about how much money has the city of SF lost in taxes by allowing criminals to run wild. Businesses move out that leads them getting less tax revenue. Ultimately the buildings will be foreclosed on or sold at a significant loss – less value/less revenue.”
Another commenter noted that San Francisco used to be wonderful but was destroyed by bad leadership, writing, “It was a beautiful city at one time, but bad politics along with a lack of law enforcement has made SF a piss poor place to try and live. They are like Los Angeles and Chicago in that they just need to start over as things are too far gone to be salvaged at this point.”
