Far-left congressman Adam Schiff, forever tainted for promising to reveal the smoking gun on former president Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia while knowing full well the evidence did not exist, is having his congressional seat threatened by a surprising political upstart.
Ben Savage, perhaps best known for his role as Corey Matthews in the 1990s cult classic “Boy Meets World,” has reportedly thrown his hat in the ring and is preparing a challenge to the seat held by Schiff since 2001.
Savage unsuccessfully fan for a city council position in West Hollywood in 2022.
Just the News reported:
Federal Election Commission forms filed this week indicate Savage is preparing to mount a run for California’s 30th Congressional District, which Schiff has controlled since 2001.
Schiff has not indicated any plans to retire from that seat, meaning the two could end up squaring off in a primary, though Schiff himself has indicated he is possibly considering a run for U.S. Senate.
Not mentioned in the report was whether Savage would be running as a Democrat or Republican, although the notion of the two “squaring off in a primary” suggests the former.
And while Schiff might now face competition for his House seat, Trending Politics also noted that Schiff is currently under assault from “all angles.”
As Just the News reported, Schiff might be feeling inclined to promote himself from the House to the Senate in order to take over the soon-to-be-vacated seat of Dianne Feinstein. However, even that possibility is shrinking after it was revealed another far-left lunatic, Democrat representative Katie Porter, would also be seeking Feinstein’s open seat.

Schiff, who seems to be feeling the heat in the House, had his eyes on Senator Dianne Feinstein’s Senate seat however the congressman got the rug ripped out from underneath him as a different Democrat announced her intentions to run for the seat.
Democrat Katie Porter, another Representative from California, announced last week that she would seek Feinstein’s seat. Feinstein is 89 and many expect her to retire and not seek re-election.
Katie Porter seized this opportunity to announce her campaign for Senate in California which has completely flipped Schiff’s world upside down since he was slated to be mulling over a bid for the seat.
If push comes to shove, what are the odds a white male wins more votes than a progressive female? As much as identity politics comes with problems, there would be some delicious irony in witnessing Schiff’s political career come to a screeching halt thanks to the woke victim totem he has defended for so long.
“California needs a warrior in the Senate—to stand up to special interests, fight the dangerous imbalance in our economy, and hold so-called leaders like Mitch McConnell accountable for rigging our democracy. Today, I’m proud to announce my candidacy for the U.S. Senate in 2024,” Katie Porter said in her announcement video, posted to Twitter.
“We’re living through a time of extraordinary change. I’m Katie Porter. Change can be electrifying and exhilarating, but change can also be disruptive — like the constant assault on our democracy and the dangerous imbalance in our economy,” the California congresswoman went on to say.
