Florida RINO Gets Obliterated after Betraying Trump, Attacking Him on Immigration

Prompting a massive backlash on social media, Rep. María Elvira Salazar (R-FL) chose to stab President Trump in the back by publicly criticizing his immigration policy on social media. Her unfair remarks earned her a wave of harsh criticism and hilarious responses.

For context, President Donald Trump has made securing the border a central part of his campaign, and once he assumed office in 2025, he immediately began a campaign of mass deportations. Despite being very popular, some RINOs, or Republicans In Name Only, have taken the opportunity to betray the America First platform.

This was demonstrated when Rep. María Elvira Salazar took to X on June 6, 2025. She began, “I am fully aware, and heartbroken, about the uncertainty now gripping Florida’s 27th District because of the recent immigration actions of the Administration.”

Continuing her woke rant, she said, “Arrests in immigration courts, including people with I-220A and pending asylum cases, the termination of the CHNV program, which has left thousands exposed to deportation, and other similar measures, all jeopardize our duty to due process that every democracy must guarantee.”

Still not done complaining, Salazar said, “I remain clear in my position: anyone with a pending asylum case, status-adjustment petition, or similar claim deserves to go through the legal process. It is an indisputable fact that the vast majority of these individuals fled Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua, the three most brutal regimes in our hemisphere and sworn enemies of the United States.”

Concluding her remarks, she sought to soften the blow of her betrayal, saying, “I wholeheartedly agree that the administration must kick out every criminal here illegally, just as President Trump promised. Many still remain, and we should keep our focus on them. Next week, I will meet with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, alongside my colleagues Mario Díaz-Balart and Carlos Giménez, to personally explain the dire situation unfolding in South Florida.”

In the comments under her post, conservatives took her to task for her bias. Reacting, Enrique Tarrio wrote, “This is why I ran against her in 2020… It’s crazy a Castro loving and Che Guevara worshipping congressman has an R next to her name. This is the SAME EXACT WORDS liberals use in press releases. She needs to be primaried.”

Slamming the RINO, another comment asked, “What part of 56% of the population supports deportation did you not understand? It is going higher, not lower, and I bet after the stunts this week in NYC, Minneapolis & LA those numbers will only go higher.” Building on this point, another user said, “I voted for Every Last Illegal Alien to be DEPORTED. Every last Man, Woman, and Child!!! No sob stories no exceptions and by any means necessary.”

Deeply angered, another conservative wrote, “Unbelievable that a REPUBLICAN would be undermining @POTUS. @ICEgov is simply enforcing the laws on the books, laws enacted by Congress. If you don’t like those laws, change them. Doing this lip service on behalf of ILLEGAL ALIENS is NOT what you should be Tweeting about.”
