With much now in the news about the Epstein associates revealed by the recently unsealed court filings, a video which was released in 2018 and shows a lawyer of the Epstein victims describing how Trump was the only powerful figure to help out his investigation has resurfaced and taken Twitter by storm.
In the video, attorney Bradley Edwards, who helped bring the pedophile financier to justice and has represented more than 70 of Epstein’s victims since 2009, discusses how Trump was involved in the situation and actually tried to help out. The video was released in 2018 by the Conscious Resistance Network and in it Edwards is speaking to the site’s founder, Derrick Broze.
In the beginning, Broze describes the situation in a way quite unfavorable to Trump, asking Edwards, “Obviously our current president has had relationships with Epstein in the past. And there are those, Katie Johnson and maybe other victims, who have accused Trump of being involved in things like this. In my experience, Trump supporters will not listen to anything along those lines. Obviously, we’re not a court of law here right now. But are those claims of the that case was dropped? It was dropped before went to court. And your opinion as a lawyer and your experience, is there anything you can say as to the validity of those claims, or whether or not there will be any you know any more about that?”
But Edwards quickly shot that down and explained how helpful Trump was in his investigation, saying. “Nothing at all. I, the only thing that I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person who in 2009, when I served a lot of subpoenas on a lot of people, or at least gave notice to some pretty connected people that I was going that I wanted to talk to them. He is the only person who picked up the phone and said, ‘Let’s just talk I’ll give you as much time as you want. I’ll tell you what you need to know.‘”
Continuing, Edwards said that Trump “was very helpful in the information that he gave, and gave no indication whatsoever that he was involved in anything untoward whatsoever, but had good information that checked out. And that helped us and that we didn’t have to take a deposition of when I was in 2009 That was in 2009.”
Driving the videos resurgence was the X account “End Wokeness,” which had gotten nearly 5 million impressions on the video as of the time this article was written. That account commented, “This is Attorney Bradley Edwards. He represented 70 trafficking victims of Jeffrey Epstein starting in 2009 & was instrumental in bringing him down. He dedicated a decade of his life to the Epstein trafficking case. This is what he said when asked about Trump’s involvement with Epstein.”
Watch him here:
Trump, for his part, said in 2019 that he had a falling out with Epsein in the early 2000s, saying, “Well, I knew him like everybody in Palm Beach knew him. I mean, people in Palm Beach knew him. He was a fixture in Palm Beach,” the president replied. “I had a falling out with him a long time ago. I don’t think I’ve spoken to him for 15 years. I was not a fan. I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you,”
