Far-Left NYC Democrat Mayoral Candidate Doubles Down on Plan to Tax “Whiter Neighborhoods” More Heavily, Says Billionaires Shouldn’t Exist

Controversial democratic socialist and NYC mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani has doubled down on his tax scheme, going after “richer and Whiter neighborhoods” on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” While he attempted to dodge the allegations of racism, he doubled down on the “Stop the Squeeze on NYC Homeowners” plan.

For context, Mamdani said his remarks were reflective of “reality” and not racially biased, all while ironically pushing for “fairness.” He also spouted his un-American view that billionaires shouldn’t exist, blaming inequality for the problems facing his city.

Defending his radical socialism, Mamdani deflected, saying, “That is just a description of what we see right now. It’s not driven by race. It’s more of an assessment of what neighborhoods are being undertaxed and overtaxed. The use of that language is just an assessment of the neighborhood.”

Continuing his vile remarks, the mayoral hopeful added, “I’m just naming things as they are. The thing that motivates me in this is to create a system of fairness. It is not to work backwards from a racial assessment of neighborhoods or our city.”

Concluding his socialist screed, he stated, “I don’t think that we should have billionaires, frankly. It is so much money in a moment of such inequality. And ultimately, what we need more of is equality across our city and across our state and across our country.”

Reacting to the controversial primary result, President Trump took to Truth Social to say, “As President of the United States, I’m not going to let this Communist Lunatic destroy New York. Rest assured, I hold all the levers, and have all the cards. I’ll save New York City, and make it “Hot” and “Great” again, just like I did with the Good Ol’ USA!”

Wondering if the future New York mayor could be deported, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) said, “Zohran Mamdani was a card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America before he became a citizen. If he checked “NO” on his N-400 form when asked about associations with a Communist party, then he LIED. Get the plane ready—he might be going back!”

In the comments under his post, conservatives jumped at the chance to mock the controversial Democrat. One such comment said, “Why on Earth would we allow ANY self-proclaimed socialists to become American citizens? Collectivism of any kind is positively antithetical to the founding principles of our country, which is dedicated to securing our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Pointing out other skeletons in Mamdani’s closet, one user noted, “Also being a member of the muslim brotherhood, an Islamic extremist group that calls for the overthrow of the American govt kind of hits a few of those disqualifying points as well.”

Supporting the Tennessee Republican’s suggestion, one woman said, “Good call Rep Ogles! Lying on that question should be grounds for deportation, or at the very least elimination from running for MAYOR of the largest U.S. city!”
