Famous Actor Kelsey Grammer Says Trump Is “Maybe the Greatest” President in American History

Kelsey Grammer, the “Frasier” star and outspoken Republican, lauded President Trump as “extraordinary” and “maybe the greatest” U.S. president ever in a Fox News interview ahead of the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors.

He praised Trump’s ambition despite challenges inherited from Biden, echoing prior endorsements where he highlighted Trump’s focus on the “common man” and authenticity. Grammer reflected on Hollywood’s bias against conservatives, likening himself to a “rebel.”

Making his support clear, Kelsey Grammer declared, “I think he’s extraordinary. He’s one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had. Maybe the greatest. There are some things he still wants to get done, and I think that’s terrific, but there was a big hill to climb.”

This most recent comment echoes the actor’s earlier comments, in which he said, “It’s great to have somebody [as president] who actually means what they say.” Additionally, he noted, “[Trump’s] focus is really on the common man” [and this is true of the modern Republican Party as a whole].

In 2023, the Fraser sat down with BBC Radio 4’s “Today” to make his feelings known. “I am [still a supporter of Trump]. And I’ll let that be the end of it,” he said, surprising the host. Reacting, Justin Webb quipped, “Kelsey Grammer himself was perfectly happy to go on talking about it [Trump support].”

Contrary to these beliefs, with those of his bosses, he added, “The Paramount+ PR people, less happy that he talked about it at some length, so we… They decided that we’d had plenty of time for our interview. But I should stress that he was absolutely perfectly happy to talk about why he supports Donald Trump and still does in the coming election.”

Far from his first comment on politics, Grammar noted that “The thing is, I have always been a rebel. If you ever tell me the way to think, I’m bound to think the other way,” during the 2012 election, and distancing himself from the rest of liberal Hollywood.

Doubling down, Grammar recently described Trump in glowing words.“Trump has been kicking ass in his second term… The economy is actually going really well. Democrats would be charging twice as much and spending three times as much,” he said.

Likewise, in another appearance, he advocated for other conservative celebrities to receive recognition. “It’s about time [Sylvester Stallone was honored]… Trump gets it—real Americans, real stories,” he said in response to the question about his own awards.

However, Grammer is far from the only A-lister to make his affinity for the president explicit. “President Trump, you’re a fighter like Rocky—knocking out the deep state one punch at a time. Honored to stand with you,” cinema icon Sylvester Stallone explained.

Additionally, Jon Voight, who serves in the DHS Special Ambassador role, stated, “Trump is the second George Washington—saving America from the brink. His vision for Hollywood? Patriotic stories that unite, not divide.”
