Country music star Hardy recently delivered a passionate rant during a concert, calling out people who display hatred for the United States of America and the freedoms it provides so many citizens who seemingly take them for granted. Hardy’s patriotic commentary comes as negative attitudes toward the United States seem more common.
In between songs during a recent concert, Hardy kicked off a monologue calling out the nonsense he has observed recently in American society. “I especially this year, with all the crazy sh*t going on, I see a lot of people posting and talking sh*t about living in the United States of America and being a United States citizen today, to that I say, f*** you. If you don’t like living here then f***ing go live somewhere else, motherf*****,” he said, pointing out that those who voice a fervent hatred for American are not forced to live here.
Hardy expressed his American pride, illustrating his love for America. “The United States is the greatest country on this planet! Period,” Hardy proclaimed. I’m damn proud to live in this country, damn proud,” he emphasized. “We’ve got people who work their f***ing a** off every single day of their life, put their life on the f***ing line so we can come to concerts…
The country star’s sentiment starkly contrasts the critical attitudes displayed by others in the music industry. The American Tribune recently reported on remarks from rapper Macklemore during a recent concert he held in Seattle, Washington, where he encouraged members of his audience to chant “f**k America.”
The 41-year-old “Thrift Shop” artist, whose real name is, Benjamin Hammond Haggerty said while onstage, “Straight up say it, I’m not gonna stop you. I’m not gonna stop you. Yeah, f**k America.” The crowd cheered on Macklemore’s comments as he segued into a new song of his titled, ” Hinds Hall 2″ which has features criticism of Israel in response to the October 7 attack that killed thousands.
Subsequently, Macklemore received massive backlash from users on social media who did not agree with his anti-American sentiment. One user said, “Shame. This country made Macklemore possible. Where else could he have got rich and famous?? Shame.” Another person stated in response, “I had to walk away from his show and a festival in Phoenix. None of the bands were political but he decided to celebrate oct 7. Such a disappointment since I didn’t know he was a radical going into the concert and it instantly ruined the vibe.”
“No one is forced to stay here, hate it here, there are other countries to chose from. That is the beautiful thing about America, we don’t hold you prisoner here. @macklemorecan move anywhere he’d like. After all, he’s made alot of money off American fans. 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙭𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 $25 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 $30 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣. 𝙈𝙖𝙮 10, 2024. You don’t crap on the system that you happily used to become wealthy. What Americans hate is a corrupt government who has removed the people’s power and voice. We are taking it back on November 5TH,” another person wrote, pointing out that Macklemore could live anywhere he wanted to with his vast wealth.
