A former White House stenographer, whose career spanned much of two-term Barack Obama’s administration in which Joe Biden was the vice president, is accusing the now-President of being involved in a lucrative “kickback scheme.”
Mike McCormick, a White House staffer for 15 years, made the accusations during a recent appearance on ‘Fox & Friends First’ while also noting that prior to going public, he had first attempted to reach out to the FBI with information regarding the scheme to avail.
“In February, I went to the FBI and filed one of their tips on their website. If you do that, and you’re lying to them, you go to jail. I’m not lying. I’m telling the truth, and I’m not going to jail,” McCormick said during his television appearance. “Joe Biden is a criminal. He was conducting malfeasance in office to enrich his family. Jake Sullivan is a conspirator in that, and there’s more… Obama officials involved in it, I believe.”
One of the most egregious stories presented by McCormick was a 2014 episode involving Biden and aide Jake Sullivan, who boarded Air Force Two for a trip to Ukraine. Fox News added:
Sullivan, who is the current national security adviser, outlined in a White House transcript Biden’s priorities for his trip to the country, which included U.S. investment in the Ukrainian energy sector days after Hunter joined the board of Burisma, according to the New York Post.
Months later, and well after the trip, Congress allocated $50 million to Ukraine’s energy market.
Few people would forget that 2014 was a tumultuous year politically for the Eastern European nation, as it endured what was called the Maiden Revolution. Moreover, Joe Biden’s son Hunter, despite having no apparent knowledge of the country, its language, nor the inner workings of major oil production, sat on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma collecting a tidy paycheck.
Hunter Biden joined Burisma just three days after that trip.
McCormick also described the flight across the Atlantic and recounted how he had a tape recorder capturing some pretty condemning evidence of corruption.

“I’m sitting back there with a tape recorder. Jake Sullivan comes back and somebody asks about fracking. His answer is, well, we’re bringing a lot of American assistance over for fracking. Burisma was the direct beneficiary of that fracking, and that’s what I recorded, and that’s in a White House transcript,” McCormick said.
“In the transcript, you don’t know who Jake Sullivan is. It’s a senior administration official. I’m the witness that says Jake Sullivan is the guy who said it and he should be investigated because at the time Hunter Biden was on the board of Burisma and Joe Biden is bringing American taxpayer money to enrich that company and himself and his family,” he continued.
McCormick, by laying out the facts as he sees them and the timelines as he understands them, essentially argues that Joe Biden enriched himself and his family at the expense of taxpayers and used his position of power within the American government. He made it abundantly clear that he wants to present this information not just on Fox News, but before a grand jury and testify under oath as to the veracity of his claims.
Hunter Biden has been under investigation since 2018 for suspected tax and foreign lobbying violations ever since his accounts were flagged for what are called suspicious activity reports stemming from questionable foreign transactions. China, as well as other foreign countries, were determined to be the origin of some of those payments.
McCormick was still not done. He added that if he were to testify, the web would only grow larger.
“If I went in there, I would tell them to have Barack Obama called in as a witness because he’s part of the conspiracy. He’s an ex-president. He has to answer who was in charge of this, putting Joe Biden into this role? Did Barack Obama know about it?” McCormick questioned.
“There’s evidence I’ve seen and put in my Substack on April 16th, so two days before Hunter joins Joe Biden is with Hunter in the West Wing. They have a meeting, and then later that day in the evening, Joe Biden spends a day in the limousine in the back of Barack Obama’s limousine in western Pennsylvania,” he continued.
