Former President Donald Trump recently appeared for an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press” with Kristen Welker, much to the chagrin of leftists on Twitter. During the interview, he mocked Biden’s constant lying and attempts to insert himself into situations, saying that most everything that comes out of Biden’s mouth is a lie.
Particularly, Trump attacked Biden for his recent claim that he was at Ground Zero on 9/11, which was completely false, having no grounding whatsoever in reality. Welker attempted to steer Trump back to himself, but not before he got a couple of jabs in at Biden’s expense on that front.
Hammering Biden for his lies, former President Trump said, “Look at all the lies he’d told. Look at all the lies he’s told over the past couple of weeks. He said he was at the World Trade Center, and he wasn’t. He said he flew airplanes. He didn’t. He said he drove trucks, and he didn’t. Everything he says is like a lie. It’s terrible.”
Then, making a snide remark about Biden’s golf game and the apparent claim that Biden has a six handicap, which would be very good and put him leagues ahead of most golfers, something most would assume is physically impossible given Biden’s frailty, Trump said, “He’s not a six.”
The Welker interview wasn’t the first time recently in which Trump made a joke about Biden’s golf game. During a speech in South Dakota, Trump said, “He makes up these stories. This guy. The worst is, did you ever see his golf swing? Trump asked the crowd. He said he’s a six handicap!”
Continuing, Trump noted how ludicrous that is, saying, “Six handicap’s a good golfer! You know what, these six handicaps, that’s a good golfer. This guy can’t hit the ball to Kristi. He’s a six handicap! I think that’s the greatest lie, if you wanna know the truth.”
Nor was Trump the only one to draw attention to Biden’s lies. During a recent press conference, Washington Times reporter Jeff Mordock asked, “In the past couple of weeks, the president has lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the Sept. 11 attacks, falsely claimed he saw the Pittsburgh bridge collapse, claimed his grandfather died in the hospital days before his birth. What is going on with the president? Is he just believing things that didn’t happen, did happen? Or is he just randomly making stuff up?”
Kirby had no good answer, saying, “The president was deeply touched and honored to be able to spend 9/11 with military members there in Alaska and some families. And he spoke about a visit to Ground Zero, which he did participate in about a week or so after the event. And what that looked and what that smelled and what that felt like. And it has visceral impact on him as it did so many other Americans on that terrible day. And he’s focused on making sure that an attack like that never happens again.”
