One of the few legislative wins the generally Do Nothing GOP has so far even embarked upon delivering for President Donald Trump was the House’s passage of the No Rogue Rulings Act, which limits the ability of district court judges to issue injunctions that cover the whole United States. Following up on the bill’s passage, Rep. Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) spoke to Fox News Digital and explained why it matters in a big way.
As background, President Trump has had persistent issues in implementing his favored policies, such as deportations of gangsters affiliated with terror organizations like MS-13 and Tren de Aragua, because activist judges embedded in the district court system block him from doing so with injunctions that then have to work their way up to the Supreme Court.
Republicans responded with the No Rogue Rulings Act, which passed through the House of Representatives on Wednesday, April 9, in a near-unanimous vote amongst Republicans; if the bill moves through the Senate, it will block district court judges from issuing nationwide injunctions.
Rep. Hamadeh then spoke to Fox News Digital about why the bill was necessary, explaining that the dozens of ridiculous injunctions Trump has fought since entering office just months ago show the need for the bill. He said, “If you look at what President Trump has been going through compared to previous presidents, it’s unheard of.”
Building on that, the representative told Fox News Digital that a single judge in one district shouldn’t be able to block the will of the people, saying, “It’s unprecedented the amount of injunctions trying to stop President Trump’s America First agenda, which, overwhelmingly, the American people support, and to have one district court judge be able to determine the direction of our country is not what the judiciary is meant for.”
Further, Hamadeh told Fox News Digital that the No Rogue Rulings Act will block Democrat activists from using judge-shopping to work with “judicial tyranny” and the “weaponization of courts” in an effort to block the Trump Administration. He also added that both Republicans in Congress and MAGA voters think “enough is enough” when it comes to the rogue injunctions.
Then, commenting on how woke, activist judges are destroying their own legitimacy with insane rulings that run against basic common sense, Rep. Hamadeh said, “The federal bench right now has to be very careful, they’re losing legitimacy constantly every single day, when you see the constant pushbacks, I mean, it’s amazing. What President Trump wants to do is deport illegal immigrants who are terrorists, who are murderers, who are rapists, and they’re trying to stop that.”

He added that the activist judges now trying to stop President Trump never once tried to stop former President Biden from importing millions of illegal immigrants, saying, “They’re trying to keep them in our country. Well, what happened when Biden was importing so many of these illegal immigrants, literally flying them in from their countries of origin into the United States? They never weighed in on that issue.”
He added to that point by noting that the judiciary has put itself in a bad position and that the Senate will rein it in, saying, “So it’s shocking to see that the judiciary, sadly, has been in the way of what President Trump is trying to accomplish. but we are going to limit them, here in the House, and I’m sure it’s gonna pass the Senate as well and make its way to the president’s desk.”
Then, building on that by noting the similarly bad position that the Democratic Party has put itself in on this issue, Rep. Hamadeh told Fox News Digital, “Democrats are in a world of trouble, especially knowing who is on the bench and what they’re actually fighting for has been really opposed to what the American people want.”
And, noting the common sense Trump policies that the courts are blocking, Hamadeh said, “We want to save communities, we want to stop fentanyl, and we want to deport these terrorists, illegals, and the rapists and murderers who have come into our country because of Joe Biden’s disastrous border. I’m from Arizona. To see President Trump, literally in two months, get the border encounters to a 97% decrease, it’s shocking. It’s amazing to see that type of result. That’s why the American people voted for President Trump. And unfortunately, you see these judges trying to stop them.”
