Elon Musk announced he would be taking legal action against a Twitter account tracking his private jet after his son was stalked while driving in Los Angeles.
The Twitter, Tesla, and SpaceX CEO posted to his Twitter account that he would take legal action against Jack Sweeney, a college student and programmer who created the @elonjet flight-tracking account.
Elon wrote in the lengthy Twitter post as well as including a video of the stalker:
“Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation. This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info. Posting locations someone traveled to on a slightly delayed basis isn’t a safety problem, so is ok.”
“Last night, car carrying lil X in LA was followed by crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked car from moving & climbed onto hood. Legal action is being taken against Sweeney & organizations who supported harm to my family.”

The stalker in the video can be seen wearing all black and covering his face with a balaclava. As Musk alleged in the tweet, the stalker apparently blocked the car and then jumped on the hood of the vehicle, terrorizing the driver and his son.
There is growing speculation this individual could be associated with Antifa, a radical left-wing organization that former President Trump intended to label a domestic terrorist organization. One Twitter user wrote in the comments section of Musk’s post, “Antifa…100% Antifa.”
The individual in the video is dressed in the typical attire that Antifa is seen in, all black clothing and covered face. The stalker’s motivations likely stem from the left’s newfound hatred for Musk ever since taking over Twitter. He has enraged liberals in his efforts to create a true free-speech platform which has led to Musk unbanning prominent right-wing figures such as Donald Trump.
Elon Musk has also exposed collusion between the Biden administration and former Twitter employees to censor specific content on the social media platform. Specifically, the Hunter Biden Laptop story published by the New York Post ahead of the 2020 election.
These actions are an effort to promote true freedom of speech on the social media platform, since the internet has become the new public square for societal discourse. While this endeavor is hardly partisan, it has given the left cause to attack him. It threatens their grip on social media which is a massive lever in controlling narratives and shaping public opinion. A prime example of this is being able to suppress the public from finding out about Hunter Biden’s laptop, very close to the presidential election.
Therefore, such doxxing efforts seriously endanger Elon Musk and his family if his location can be tracked and publicly broadcasted for anyone to see. Sweeney’s @elonjet flight-tracker has been suspended on Twitter. This follows a new rule on the social media platform that prevents the practice of disclosing someone’s identity, address, or other personal details online.
