“Disturbing”: Internet Sounds Off after Brandon Started Yelling Mid-Sentence [WATCH]

President Joe Biden has faced criticism for a speech earlier this summer in which he raised his voice to emphasize his stance on gun control, stating that America should “control guns, not girls.” As Biden railed against Republicans, calling out the conservative-majority Supreme Court bench in particular, he argued that regulations should really be focused on private firearm ownership.

“Control guns, not girls,” Biden said.  “The idea we’re sitting around, this is where Kamala is so good as well.” Biden then raised his voice, shouting, “We’re sitting around, more children are killed by the bullet than any other cause of death. The United States of America. What the hell are we doing? What are we doing? Got a candidate say, promise the NRA, don’t worry I’m not going to do anything. I’m not going to do anything. You got a Supreme Court that is what you might call the most conservative court in American history.
    This is ridiculous.

Conservatives on social media reacted to the incident, with some claiming Biden’s delivery was “disturbing.”  Conservative X commentator, George, wrote, “Joe Biden just started SCREAMING in the middle of his sentence after saying we need to “control guns, not girls” Jokes aside, that was incredibly disturbing.”  Another person added in the comment section, “Not sure who is telling him to randomnly whisper or yell at people but neither are a good look…”

Another user disputed Biden’s claim that guns were the biggest cause of death among young children.  “Completely false that gun deaths are the number one cause of child deaths. Not even taking into account abortions, which is the true number one cause,” they wrote.  Another person echoed the same sentiment, writing, “I asked AI for fun: The most common way that children are killed in the U.S. is through motor-vehicle crashes. Drowning is the second most common way that children are killed in the U.S.”

“New findings from the Monthly Abortion Provision Study show that an estimated 1,037,000 abortions occurred in the formal health care system in 2023,” another user wrote, pointing out the major impact of abortion.  Sharing the same opinion, one person added, “Actually more children are killed by abortions…just sayin.”

While Biden was seemingly advocating for girls in his remarks, others pointed out his stances on Title IX.  “Even before he started screaming, his “control guns not girls” statement was nonsensical. If he gets away with his rewrite of Title IX, he will be exerting the ultimate control over girls- forcing them to give up their right to fair sports competion, and even their right to change their clothes without males in their changing spaces. Biden very much wants to “control girls”, even in his rare, “lucid” moments. He’s disgusting,” they wrote.

“Joe said, “Control guns, not girls.” It seems like he might be trying to make a point about prioritizing gun control over other issues, or perhaps he’s suggesting that we should focus more on regulating firearms rather than policing personal freedoms. Either way, it’s a statement that’s open to interpretation and has sparked quite a bit of discussion online,” another person said.
