“Die Hard” Actor Absolutely Obliterates Zohran Mamdani

Actor Robert Davi, most well-known for his classic roles in Die Hard and The Goonies, took an opportunity to absolutely shred New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, an avowed socialist, after the mayor’s office published a map of the Big Apple’s ethnic neighborhoods that left out Little Italy. The map, titled “New York City Immigrant Enclaves,” featured a total of 30 ethnic neighborhoods.

The map was designed to be a celebration of the city’s diversity for the tourist trade. However, a number of the mayor’s critics quickly noted that the map made no mention of the city’s Italian, Irish, and Jewish neighborhoods. Davi, 75, who was born in Astoria, Queens, was very upset with Mamdani for the exclusion and said as much in a post published on X in which he referred to the mayor as a “jerk.”

“I hope every New York Italian American and Irish American spits on you when they see you,” Davi went on to say to his followers. “I would spit on you if I saw you. Shame on you, you garbage man. Shame on you. Respect the city you’re in and understand the people who helped build it. My grandparents came from Sicily and Naples and they taught me, ‘speak the English. This is America.’ God bless America.”

“My grandfather enlisted in World War I and got wounded three times … he helped build New York City as an immigrant, an Italian immigrant,” the post continued. Davi, an outspoken conservative, then insisted that the “leftist Marxist Communist” mayor pack his bags and leave the United States. “Go back to where you were born, Mamdani. You don’t belong in America,” the actor said, according to a report from Breitbart.

Mamdani was actually born in Kampala, Uganda, but immigrated to the United States when he was seven. The legendary actor then said that those born in foreign countries should not be allowed to move to the U.S. and then hold public office. “You should spend time in America, at least a generation, especially those of you that come from a country that has a totally different philosophical ideology bent,” he explained.

The mayor’s office has attempted to provide a defense for the map leaving off these ethnic communities by passing the buck to the previous administration. Mamdani’s administration claims that the tourist program was developed under former Mayor Eric Adams. A spokesman for Mamdani said that the Irish, Jewish, and Italian neighborhoods will be added to a forthcoming map.

The comment section of the Breitbart report was colorful as usual with its takes on Mamdani. “Always dividing like the devil. The mayor does everything with a purpose. He seeks to divide and destroy,” a user wrote. “That is his Muslim allegiance rearing its ugly head,” another replied to the user’s comment. Someone else pointed out how immigrants in previous generations embraced their new home country and made contributions to the formation of its culture.

“He’s got a great point. Irish- and Italian-Americans embraced their new country and made massive contributions whereas Mamdani and his CAIR buddies are plotting to destroy America and replace it with something the Founders never envisioned,” the individual commented. “My mom and her family came from Italy…they were proud of their Italian heritage, but they became Americans, with 3 of my uncles serving in the Army and Navy,” another replied.
