In yet another example of the Trump administration’s effectiveness, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported a 68.49% surge in website traffic in 2025, reaching 102 million page views and 67 million unique visitors, which is up from 40 million in 2024, with high interest in the CBP Home App for self-deportation.
Adding more context, the DHS credited Trump administration policies for historic border security, including nearly 3 million illegal aliens leaving, including 2.2 million self-deportations, over 675,000 deportations, record-low apprehensions, halved fentanyl trafficking, and $13.2 billion in taxpayer savings.
Closing out her commentary, Secretary Kristi Noem highlighted these facts as part of creating the “most secure border ever.” Likewise, the DHS plans a redesigned, more transparent website and continues initiatives like the “Worst of the Worst” page.
“Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump and Secretary Noem, DHS celebrated one of the most consequential periods of action and reform in American history in 2025,” confidently announced a DHS spokesperson.
Building on this point, the spokesperson told Fox News Digital, “From delivering the most secure border ever and removing dangerous criminal illegal aliens, to fixing disaster response and ushering in a golden age of travel, DHS will continue to build upon this success and innovate to find ways to deliver for the American people.”
Concluding the official statement, the spokesperson noted new plans for the future, saying, “This redesigned website is another example of that commitment to innovation and being the most transparent administration in American history.”
Adding more context, Secretary Kristi Noem stated, “In President Trump’s first year back in office, nearly 3 million illegal aliens have left the U.S. because of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration, including an estimated 2.2 million self-deportations and more than 675,000 deportations.

“In the last year, fentanyl trafficking at the southern border has also been cut by more than half compared to the same period in 2024,” Noem added, “The U.S. Coast Guard alone seized enough cocaine to kill more than 177 million Americans. Meanwhile, we have saved taxpayers more than $13.2 billion here at DHS.”
Conservatives were encouraged by the news. “🚀 BREAKING: DHS website traffic explodes 68% as thousands flock to Trump’s self-deportation app! Under President Trump & Sec. Noem, illegals are voluntarily heading home—2.5M migrants out already. This is border security WINNING bigly!” one post noted.
Announcing another aspect of this scheme, an official White House social media account posted, “@DHSgov Now Offering $2,600 Stipend Via the CBP Home App for Illegal Aliens to Leave Now.” Reacting in the comments, one user declared, “The [illegal] aliens are going to be deported anyway, so why don’t they take the money and go voluntarily so they at least have a chance to apply for citizenship if they want to live in America.”
“We had our taxes stolen to bring them here now we HAVE to pay to get them out. This alone should bar any Democrat from holding office for a decade,” another post added. Rounding out the comments, a user quipped, “that sounds like a creative way to manage the situation but it’s a sensitive topic that needs careful handling.”
