Democrats Slammed for Defending Charged “Human Trafficker” They “Lifted Up as a Hero”

In a hilarious post to social media, a prominent conservative blasted the Democrats for making Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a known MS-13 associate, a figurehead for their fight against President Trump’s immigration agenda.

For context, Democrats have been melting down since the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) deported the Salvadoran illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia back to his country of origin. The DHS proved that Garcia was a known associate of the violent MS-13 gang and had their symbols tattooed on his body, in documents that completely demolished the DNC narrative. Eventually, Garcia was brought back to the country to face charges for human trafficking.

Such was shown when Joey Mannarino took to X on June 6, 2025, to deliver a rhetorical killshot. He posted, “Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the hero of the Democrat Party, was actually a full-time human trafficker. This is who the Democrats defended and lifted up as a hero. Remember this. They had margaritas with him and flew on YOUR MONEY to try and break him free from jail. May they all rot in hell.”

In the comments under his post, many conservatives were enraged by the shady actions of the DNC. One such comment read, “Democrats’ stunt to paint Kilmar Abrego Garcia as a “Maryland dad” to bash Trump’s immigration policies has backfired spectacularly. This guy, now back in the U.S. to face human trafficking charges, is accused of smuggling women, kids, and MS-13 gang members.”

Continuing the same post declared, “Their fake “rule of law” narrative was just a ploy to make Trump look bad, and now taxpayers are stuck footing the bill for his trial and prison time. Way to go, Dems—defending a criminal and wasting our money in one shot.”

Building on this point, another user said, “Garcia can thank the Democrats for these additional charges after putting him in the spotlight. Muchas Gracias, demócratas. Tennessee Whiskey vs Margaritas now. CECOT, Gitmo.” Agreeing, another conservative wrote, “Today’s radical leftsist don’t see even human trafficking as a crime to begin with. Because they don’t believe in borders, and they only see people as a resource.”

As we reported, Immigration Czar Tom Homan blasted a CNN reporter for defending Garcia. In a cynical move, the unnamed reporter tried to get one over on the eagle-eyed border czar. She said, “Late last week, there were three US citizen children who were removed with their mothers, who were in the United States illegally. There has been a federal judge in Louisiana who was appointed by President Trump who said that he was concerned that there was “no meaningful process.'”

Finally getting to the point, she asked, “Are you concerned that due process, at least for the US citizen children, is being flouted, and that the speed at which the enforcement is being done could lead to errors, as was the case in the Kilmer Abrego case? And then also, if you could give an update on the deportation numbers under this administration and whether you’re pleased with them,”

Putting the disrespectful journalist in her place, Tom Homan fired back. He said, “I don’t accept the term error in Abrego Garcia, there is an oversight. There was, there’s a withholding order. But things have changed. The facts around the withholding order has changed. He is now a terrorist, which means the order set aside in the game was withheld, and he feared being removed… So the facts around that case are totally different. I’ll let the lawyers litigate that.”
