Democrat Moves to Impeach RFK Jr after Recent Revelations

Woke representative Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) has moved to impeach HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., pointing to “health care chaos,” “reckless cuts,” and “rising costs,” urging his resignation for undermining so-called progress.

For context, her calls follow RFK’s decision to fire CDC Director Susan Monarez and advise against acetaminophen use in pregnancy, sparking a label change by the FDA. While critics have joined the calls for his resignation, Kennedy has defended his vital reforms and plan to “make America healthy again.”

In any case, the Michigan Democrat made several wild claims about RKF in her overt bid for power. “Health care chaos. Reckless cuts. Rising costs. Michiganders and families across the country are paying the price for RFK Jr.’s agenda. Enough is enough,” she claimed.

Still not done, she pulled out all the stops in her attack on the well-loved official, saying, “He’s making Michiganders unhealthy and unsafe. He needs to resign now. It’s time for leaders who fight for science, for health, and for the people, not those who undermine the progress our families and researchers work so hard to achieve.”

Others, such as the infamous RINO Senate Majority Leader John Thune, have also criticized RFK. “I am very concerned about the impact on public trust and emphasized that decisions are grounded in science,” he said.

Despite opposition, RFK has made it clear that he is focused on reforming healthcare in the US. As we reported, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), under HHS, and led by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., launched an initiative to purge illegal aliens from Medicaid and CHIP, to make sure only U.S. citizens receive benefits.

Issuing a confident statement, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. declared, “Medicaid is a lifeline for vulnerable Americans — and I will protect it from abuse.” Building on this point, he added, “We are tightening oversight of enrollment to safeguard taxpayer dollars and guarantee that these vital programs serve only those who are truly eligible under the law.”

Echoing these comments, CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz explained the importance of this move. “Every dollar misspent is a dollar taken away from an eligible, vulnerable individual in need of Medicaid and CHIP. This action underscores our unwavering commitment to program integrity, safeguarding taxpayer dollars, and ensuring benefits are strictly reserved for those eligible under the law,” he announced.

Adding additional context on the actions taken to address this issue, the CMS issued a Press Release. “The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) today launched an oversight initiative to ensure that enrollees in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) are U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, or have a satisfactory immigration status,” the document explained.

Bringing its remarks to a close, the agency explained, “Individuals without satisfactory immigration status may only receive limited services in certain circumstances. This initiative reflects CMS’ unwavering commitment to enforcing federal eligibility rules, supporting state compliance, promoting transparency, and upholding the integrity of Medicaid and CHIP for future generations.”
