President and CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Dana White, recently delivered hilarious commentary at Netflix’s Tom Brady roast special. Despite only having 60 seconds to unload his remarks, White made the most of the allotted time, touching on everything from Brady’s career to political correctness in an unfiltered fashion.
White began his roast, taking a jab at former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski. “It’s not my thing so I’m gonna keep this short like Gronk’s bus,” he said, seemingly taking a shot at his intelligence. White proceeded to address his grievance with only having one minute to roast arguably the greatest quarterback of all time.
“Actually, let me get into this real quick. It pisses me off. I flew all the way out here and you guys give me 60 seconds,” he said. White then made a self-deprecating joke about his own name, often being assigned to the opposite gender. “My name is Dana. Is that not trans enough for you liberal f***s,” he stated, calling out the political correctness commonly associated with Netflix.
The UFC boss then delivered several hilarious backhanded slights toward Tom Brady. “Tom, you played for the Patriots for so long that I was actually starting to feel like you were from Boston. Then I saw you running. I was like, no, he’s definitely from San Francisco,” joked White.
White continued, “You led the league for 20 years and passing as a straight guy. Come on.” Dana also made it a point to give a shoutout to some of the top UFC fighters in attendance, such as Sugar Sean O’Malley and Max Holloway, before returning to roasting Brady.
“Tom, you would have been a great fighter. You’re already the master of the ground and pound. That’s what you call coffee dates with your boyfriend, Alex Guerrero.” White said. He concluded his allotted time by making a lighter joke about comedian Jeff Ross.
“One more thing. People probably don’t know this, but Jeff Ross was very interested in the UFC. He thought it meant unlimited fried chicken,” Dana said before wrapping up the roast with words of praise for the legendary quarterback. “I love you, Tom,” White concluded. Watch the roast below:
Dana White has garnered a reputation for refusing to filter his speech to meet the demands of the woke mob. As demonstrated in his roast, White often unapologetically tells it like it is when it comes to just about everything.
The American Tribune reported in March on comments from White, where he defended former President Donald Trump’s appearance on a social media post. White sharing a video of Trump apparently irritated some of the UFC’s advertisers.
White sounded off on the sponsors during an appearance on Theo Von’s podcast “This Past Weekend,” stating, “I posted a video of Trump on my personal social media. One of our big sponsors called and said, ‘Take that down.’ You know what I said? ‘Go f*** yourself. You vote for whoever you want to vote for, and I’ll vote for whoever I want to vote for. That’s how this works. I don’t even care who you’re voting for, it’s none of my f***ing business. F*** you. Don’t ever f***ing call me and tell me who to vote for.”
