Country music star Luke Combs has a long history of using his vocal talents to bring joy to those who are less fortunate than him. Now, Combs has extended an invitation to his upcoming concert to patients of a North Carolina children’s hospital. Despite topping the charts and leading country music along with star Morgan Wallen, Combs continues to find ways to support those in need.

One of those children who received an offer to attend the Luke Combs concert, Gavin Clampitt, is thrilled to be going to this concert after the doctor gave him a 7% chance of survival, according to his mother. Clampett, who has since gone viral on TikTok after reciting his invitation, can be seen crying tears of joy and nearly collapsing on himself as he hears the amazing news.

Gavins’ mother, Crystal posted a brief thank you along with the video, saying, “Thank you @LukeCombs for tickets that were given to the Children’s Hospital. And to the studio for passing a pair along to Gavin leaving him SPEECHLESS for the first time in a long time!”

Crystal also added that her son is more than prepared to sing along with Combs at the concert since he is a big fan of the North Carolina native’s music. “Gavin can’t wait to sing “Fast Cars”, “When It Rains It Pours” and “Beautiful Crazy” along with Luke and friends from Levines next Friday night.”

Combs has recently been in the news for his chart-topping cover of Tracey Chapman’s “Fast Car,” a song of which Gavin is said to be a huge fan. According to The American Tribune, Combs and Morgan Wallen have taken the country music genre to heights that it had never seen before. For a moment, the pair held the top two songs in the Billboard Top 100, thrusting the country music world into the eyes of everyone in the country.

In other exciting news, Combs and his wife Nicole are expecting their second child this September. If his recent gift to kids like Gavin is any indication, Combs is likely a fantastic dad and looks forward to the birth of his next child immensely. Combs announced that his song “Take You With Me” is a message to his unborn child.

With Combs leading the industry with his musical talent and rapid commercial success, many other up-and-coming artists will seek to emulate the formula that took him to the top. It may be wishful thinking, but hopefully may in the country music genre will see Comb’s outreach to the children’s hospital and many other philanthropic acts of kindness and begin to adopt that same generosity for themselves.

In the meantime, fans will be giving their best wishes to Gavin Clampitt and his family as he continues to recover from a traumatic brain injury. While he does that, hopefully, he enjoys is concert and his night with Luke Combs.
