Country music star John Rich’s Nashville bar, Redneck Riviera, hosted an incredible tribute for the troops on Memorial Day 2024. Doing so, Redneck Riviera Nashville left out a beer and shot for the fallen soldiers who died defending America and included a sheet of paper on which patrons could leave the name of a fallen soldier.
The note left with the drinks and paper for names said, FOR THOSE THAT GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE.” Continuing, the note went on to provide, “THIS SEAT AND DRINKS ARE FOR THOSE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN THAT DIDN’T COME HOME AND GAVE US THE RIGHT TO PARTY TODAY!” It then told people not to touch the drinks, saying, “PLEASE HONOR AND RESPECT THOSE AND DO NOT TOUCH THE DRINKS.”
Tweeting about the tribute on X, Redneck Riviera posted a picture of the drinks, American flag, note, and paper for the names of heroes. Captioning that powerful picture, the bar wrote, “A tradition since since opening in 2018. @rnrbarnash will always be Home Of The Heroes. #Neverforget #Honorthem #MemorialDay2024″ Check that out here:
Responding to the tweet, one commenter thanked Rich for the tribute his bar left, saying, “Thank you John for all you do brother.” Another left the name of a fallen soldier, as the paper in the picture was provided for, saying, “SGT Cari Gasiewicz. KIA 4 Dec 2004 Baqubah, IZ.”
