Country music superstars John Rich and Travis Tritt have joined a boycott against Bud Light following the beer’s newest brand partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney. John Rich posted on his Twitter account, “What beer should my bar [Redneck Riviera] in Nashville replace #BudLight with?”

Travis Tritt similarly tweeted, “I will be deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from my tour hospitality rider. I know many other artists who are doing the same.” The musician also shared a list of other beers owned by Anheuser-Busch, calling for those brands to be included in a boycott. The country singer also warned about Jack Daniels, who began a transgender advertising campaign.

“In full disclosure, I was on a tour sponsored by Budweiser in the 90’s. That was when Anheuser-Busch was American owned. A great American company that later sold out to the Europeans and became unrecognizable to the American consumer. Such a shame,” Tritt wrote in a follow-up.
Kid Rock also voiced his frustration with Bud Light by taking up arms against a few cases of the beer. He said in the video, “Grandpa’s feeling a little frisky today. Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible,” the musician said. “F*** Bud Light. And f*** Anheuser-Busch. Have a terrific day.”

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh also slammed Bud Light for their woke activism. He slammed the beverage’s poor taste, stating, “Their beer tastes like rainwater siphoned out of a tin bucket that’s been sitting in your backyard for three weeks. Bud Light tastes very much like malaria and rust. It also tastes like nothing at the same time.”
Walsh did not hold back, saying, “The way to signal this allegiance is to constantly make trans people visible, even if they’re already as visible as any minuscule minority can possibly be or has ever been in history. It’s perched precariously on this edge, and it must be aggressively propped up all the time, every second of the day. The trans person individually barely believes the claims he makes about himself and his own identity. His self-perception is this superficial, ephemeral thing. It’s a lie that he whispers constantly to himself, and he shouts it at the world and demands that it be shouted back to him. No other group needs this kind of support because no other group is in a constant state of trying to convince itself that it exists.”
Many call this another blatant example of a company ignoring the majority of its audience to virtue signal to the woke mob. It will be interesting to see the financial impact of this boycott, particularly given how long conservatives will have the energy and thoughtfulness to avoid buying both Bud Light and other beer brands owned by Anheuser-Busch, such as Modelo and Michelob Ultra. One suspects that won’t happen, even is Bud Light faces steep sales losses for a prolonged period of time. But, it might, as this scandal has set people off in a way few other missteps have.
