Conservative comedian Rob Schneider recently revealed that he is kickstarting an alternative show to ABC’s “The View.” According to Schneider, he and his media company, “No Apologies Media,” came up with the idea to have a panel of women discuss current issues and other niche topics, much like “The View,” albeit in a much less woke manner.
“‘No Apologies Media,’ my new company, we’re going to do an all-ladies talk show that won’t be like ‘The View,’” Schneider said. “It will be the opposite because this will be entertaining. It’ll be funny,” he said during a recent interview with Fox News. “It’ll have funny women on it that are going to tell jokes and tell stories, and health and wellness,” he noted, further explaining the basis for the show.
Schneider continued, “We’re going to compete with them. yeah, the same time slot. we’re not going to announce who’s doing the show yet, but that’s what’s happening now, and it’s official. so now we’re moving ahead.” He noted, “We have a lot of women we like and it’s all, it’s household names, and you’re going to love it, it’s way fun, it’s going to be a funny show not going to be like drowning people in politics, it’s not going to be shaming people and making people wince.”
“People are sick of it,” Schneider said, referencing divisive politics. “We’re going to have an entertaining show with people — from all over America. We’re not just trying to bring people who are angry and bitter and reinforcing their political echo chamber,” he said.
Scheider has become increasingly outspoken in his conservative activism in recent years, particularly around freedom of speech amid leftist censorship. “Unfortunately, my book is timely, and I mean that because it’s unfortunate that we need to have to talk about and reinforce what this nation is – one of its principal foundational beliefs – which is that, freedom of speech is the First Amendment, not third, not fourth, not even second,” he said about a recent book he released.
The American Tribune reported on a recent contentious segment of “The View” in which the panel sounded off on incoming border czar Tom Homan on Trump’s agenda to deport masses of illegal immigrants. “It’s chilling what he just said,” co-hots Ana Navarro said. “You realize that when he says yes, families can be deported together, what he is saying is that US citizens can be deported. What he is saying is, if the parent is undocumented and they have US citizen children, or US citizen spouse or they and you don’t want to separate them, then let’s, let’s deport the US citizens.”
“Look, Donald Trump won the electoral vote. He won he’s going to win the house. He won the Senate, for all effects and purposes. He’s got the Supreme Court. They’ve given him immunity. This is what the country voted for,” she continued. “What it means is abuelos. It means dreamers. It means your family members. It means your colleagues, it means your friends. It means people who are part of the society. And look, America, you know, those of you who voted for Trump, this is what you wanted. This is what you voted for, you screwed around, and you’re about to find out.”
