In some potentially big news for MAGA conservatives who want to see the radical left held accountable for its various illegal attacks on President Trump, his allies, and his administration, a poster on X noted that though now-Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was pardoned by former President Joe Biden in the waning days of his administration, Schiff can still be held accountable for most of his political crimes.
The matter has to do with the matter of what Sen. Schiff’s pardon specifically covers: when President Biden issued his pardon of Sen. Schiff, by its own language it was limited specifically to what Schiff did as a member of the House of Representatives on the January 6 Committee, one of the things he is most detested for by conservatives.
Importantly, that pardon does not cover all of Sen. Schiff’s allegedly illegal activities in past years, meaning that not just his alleged mortgage fraud woes are a potentially major problem for him, but also that he could potentially be accountable for his role in fraudulently pushing the Russia Hoax along.
Such is what a major conservative account that goes by “Data Republican” on X, an account with well over 800,000 followers, noted on X, explaining that because Sen. Schiff’s pardon was part of the general Biden pardon of the J6 Committee members rather than a general one having to do with all of his crimes, he can still be on the hook for Russiagate.
Explaining as much in a post that went massively viral on X, garnering over a million views, the account wrote, “Adam Schiff’s pardon is ‘for any offenses … related to the activities or subject matter of the Select Committee to Investigate’ J6. Schiff is not protected against Russiagate-related offenses.”
A commenter on Data Republican’s post noted that, in fact, there are a host of crimes that Sen. Schiff allegedly committed that could still be prosecuted by the Department of Justice, writing, “That doesn’t cover mortgage fraud, the leaking of classified documents, and any other crimes @SenAdamSchiff committed outside the duties of the committee. Nobody deserves prison more than @SenAdamSchiff. He attempted to bring down a sitting president and destroy our nation.”
Another commenter, however, noted that though Sen. Schiff could be held legally liable for his behavior, it seems unlikely that he will actually be prosecuted, saying, “Every person who has lived more than 20 years knows nothing will happen to Adam Schiff beyond some meaningless, symbolic penalty . . . nothing I repeat NOTHING ever happens to someone from the elite. Especially the DC elite. Schiff is the elite of the DC elite and knows where all the bodies are buried. If anyone thinks he will ‘go to jail’, they are kidding themselves for clicks.”

Still, most others were seemingly hopeful that Sen. Schiff will be held legally accountable for what he did, as it all was utterly awful and needs to land him behind bars, or at least lead to his removal from office. One such poster wrote, “No one deserves to be behind bars more than Schiff. At minimum, he should be censured and expelled from office.”
