Climate Activists Attempt to End US Navy’s “Blue Angels” Airshow

Woke activists in Seattle are attempting to shut down the Blue Angels, a U.S. Navy flight demonstration team, by ending the popular Seafair airshow. Climate protestors, organized under the banner of the Airshow Climate Action Coalition, are protesting the patriotic display due to its alleged environmental impact.

For context, other activists, such as Lauren Ann Lombardi, have pursued legal action against the Blue Angels. The woman slapped the popular pilots with a lawsuit which alleged that they hastened the death of her aging feline with the noise from their F-18 fighter jets.

In any case, the Airshow Climate Action Coalition issued a list of complaints on their amateurish webpage, which constitutes a laundry list of woke causes. Firstly, the eco-maniacs claimed, “The Volume of fuel burned by military aircraft during airshows contributes to harmful emissions, exacerbating air quality issues and contributing to climate change.”

Continuing the poorly worded complaint, the activists alleged that the noise caused by these awe-inspiring aerial displays negatively affects animals. The page continued, “Noise harmful to people and wildlife: Contributes to noise pollution, disrupting wildlife habitats and negatively impacting nearby communities. This constant exposure to loud noises can have adverse effects on human health, including hearing loss and increased stress levels.”

Making a confusingly similar point, the webpage stated, “Triggering PTSD: For individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), especially veterans. The loud and sudden sounds of military aircraft can evoke traumatic memories and exacerbate anxiety and stress, leading to a decline in mental well-being,” adding, “Scares Pets: Causing anxiety and fear among animals in the vicinity.”

Another social activist, Aedan McCall, complained about the environmental impact of the Blue Angels, whining, “The sheer amount of carbon emissions the Blue Angels create – 670 tons in one weekend – is immense and wasteful on top of being a big display of U.S. militarism.”

As we reported, Lauren Ann Lombardi’s lawsuit was blocked on social media by the official Blue Angels account after she launched a profanity-filled tirade against the air acrobats. She posted, “Stop with your F—— b——- you are terrorizing my cat and all the other animals and wildlife. In subsequent rants, she added, “F— off” and “Nobody gives a f— about your stupid little planes,” adding, “cowards.”

In her absurd lawsuit, she claimed that her First Amendment rights and demanded retraining, among other outlandish concessions. Her lawsuit said, “These thin-skinned bureaucrats blocked Lombardi from commenting any further, thereby muzzling an American citizen while simultaneously blinding the broader public from witnessing legitimate grievances against their government.”

Speaking to her aging felines suffering, she added, “Whatever bandwidth Layla’s walnut-sized brain could previously gorge upon had been narrowed to a single overwhelming frequency: pure debilitating terror.” Building on this point, the suit stated, “Layla’s condition continued to deteriorate and she left home again, for the final time. She spent her last week fighting for her life in a specialty hospital before being humanely euthanized on August 11, 2024, surrounded by her inconsolably grieving family.”

Concluding her remarks, the woman offered a tepid clarification, saying, “Lombardi respects and supports the U.S. military and that her criticism of the Blue Angels was focused on the ‘environmental and Constitutional harms caused by their demonstration practices and subsequent censorship activities.’”
