School libraries have become a minefield of inappropriate content. There have been numerous reports of sexually explicit material and books promoting an lgbtq agenda to kids who should be tasked with learning rather than indoctrination. The woke left continues to push gender ideology on kids, but one Christian star is calling out a major book publisher.
Kirk Cameron put Scholastic Books on blast recently for glamourizing gender transitioning and pushing what Cameron referred to as “sexually explicit” material in its books. The former “Growing Pains” star took it a step further and called the publisher a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
The 53-year-old star took to X recently ripping the publisher for pushing: “LGBTQIA+-themed books — including those that have obscene, graphic content.” Cameron spoke of this as he discussed his new partnership with a non-woke distributor called Sky Tree Book Fairs.
On his X account, Cameron wrote: “MUST READ! Ever wondered how all the sexually explicit, morally disgusting, and dangerous books get into our children’s schools, classrooms, and libraries? [SkyTreeFairs] and I did a deep dive and discovered who the real wolf in Grandma’s clothing is. We see you [scholastic]!”
It is indeed too easy for a woke publisher to spread propaganda into the school library. Most parents have no idea what is being fed to their children, and the ones that do are often labeled as “domestic terrorists.” Cameron particularly called out a book called “Welcome to St. Hell” and said that it “glamorizes gender transitioning to middle schoolers.”
Cameron went on to talk about a book that went into graphic detail pushing the trans agenda on 8-12-year-olds and described another book that “tells the story of a grandfather and grandchild coming out as trans to one another,” also aimed at the same age demographic.
Scholastic Books would seem to be the most innocent of providers, as most of us grew up with their products, but as Cameron points out, that is no longer the case. The books Cameron noted aren’t just an exception either.
The “Left Behind” star noted: “Some assume that because [Scholastic] is a world-renowned children’s publisher, these books we’ve highlighted are the exception. That is incorrect … [Scholastic] has published a list of their 100+ LGBTQIA+ books on their website. (This list is not exhaustive as we found many other LGBTQ-themed books not on it.)”
The “Lifemark” star encouraged concerned parents to download a PDF from Sky Tree Book Fairs calling out all of the inappropriate books being published and distributed by Scholastic. He continued: “For many years, [Scholastic] has been championed by educators as a trusted publisher of children’s content. This should no longer be the case. Scholastic is pushing sexualized and gender-confusing content for minors into schools and libraries.”
Cameron has long been an advocate for children and a critic of dangerous gender ideology being taught in schools. He explained why he is partnering with Sky Tree: “Kids are exposed to sexually explicit, race-infused, and gender-confusing children’s books while being told this is what it means to be educated, that this is the reason they go to school. But these books, published and distributed by Scholastic, are taking children down a path that will eventually destroy them and their families.”
Kirk Cameron walked away from mainstream Hollywood and never looked back. He is a strong voice for Christianity and a powerful advocate for families, and kids need more adults like him to call out evil corporations pushing radical agendas.
